Message from the Akashic Records of the Year 2007

What is the primary theme for the year 2007?

The year 2007 has been forecast to be, and is indeed, the Year of Grace. More than ever in your life, you will be surrounded by Grace and you will be surrounded by Love. However, we would like to offer the perspective that the Year of Grace is actually the Year of Clarity. The experience of Grace for human beings will be the experience of Clarity. The year 2006 created an enormous leap in the story of humanity as a collective. You moved so far forward! You worked so hard, you opened your hearts so beautifully, and all of you, including the planet, raised the vibration of the world significantly. You raised it to the extent that you could say that you are all living in a higher dimension than you were before 2006. The year 2007 finds you in an entirely new place energetically, spiritually and emotionally, physically, and even socially. Learning to live in this higher vibration, being surrounded by it whether you choose to live it or not, defines the year 2007.

Many of you understand that Grace means having a benevolent, protective Being watching over you. The profound truth you will come to understand this year is that this benevolent Being is you – it is your Higher Self and all the Masters and Guides who love you! The only way you can be in Grace is by taking such complete accountability for your own well-being that you become protected by your own divinity. The truth about Grace is that you were always in it, and your experience of being in Grace always depends on your willingness to honor and attend to your needs, your growth, and the expansion of your self-love. While it is the Year of Grace, we will also call it the Year of Clarity because the primary experience of being in this higher vibration and being surrounded by Grace is the experience of Clarity. The word Grace implies love and it implies comfort and this is what we wish for you throughout the year 2007, however the word Clarity gives you more direction about how to experience this Grace and to work with each challenge that comes to you in the year 2007.

Grace comes when you are able to be clear honest and accountable for yourself in every moment. Clarity means that if you choose to deceive yourselves about your needs and pretend that something you need is not really there, or deceive yourselves about the state of your health, or if you deceive yourselves about your desires, or about your history, you'll find that this year is guaranteed to bring challenges. We have spoken of this before -- it is one of the greatest challenges of this age. As humanity moves toward the Light, each one of you is called to be honest with yourselves, to find your truth and to honor it even as you respect and honor the truths of others. You know this already, for each of you in your personal lives have been called to draw clear boundaries in your relationships, to recognize your needs and to answer them in order to keep yourselves healthy, and to redirect your work toward your truest path, whether it has been changing jobs or moving to a different city or embracing a new kind of spirituality. Each one of you has been creating the boundaries and the parameters for your lives in order to support an ability to be as honest with yourselves and as accountable for yourselves as possible. And this is Clarity. This Clarity is your guide for living in Grace.

Many of you began the experience of living in Clarity right at the beginning of the year 2007. You are calling yourselves to notice and be intentional about every moment you are in, and this can be challenging. The result of this commitment is that in every moment if there is some part of you that you are ignoring or some part of you that you are choosing to a deny, then you will have an immediate consequence for that denial. If you feel hungry, you must answer the call to take care of your body. If you feel angry, you must find a way to acknowledge the anger. Because your soul is committed to your awakening, and awakening means seeing your truths and responding to them in every moment, your truth cannot be denied. You could call it instant Karma. However, it is not part of the Karmic cycle -- this is an exercise in living in a higher dimension where things cannot be denied. It is the dissolution of Karma, things cannot be held over time to be dealt with later unless you consciously choose it.

For instance, imagine that you are a painter and you are busy working, and nearing the end of a project. Imagine that you notice that you feel hungry, but because you have not yet finished with the project, you have a choice. You can ignore the hunger and push through to the end of the project. This choice is the kind of thing that many of you have done all throughout your lives before. The human body has been able to hold to things for you over time and allow you space for denial. So one choice is to deny the hunger. A second choice is to acknowledge the hunger and then choose to stop everything and go eat or, thirdly, to acknowledge the hunger and consciously choose to set a time within which to finish and move to eating.

Now here is the way instant Karma will work in 2007. If you choose the first option to simply deny the hunger and pretend it is not there, you will find within moments that you will spill the wrong color of paint on your entire project so that the whole thing is ruined and you must start again. This is why we call it instant Karma. If, on the other hand, you choose to acknowledge your truth and acknowledge your need, you are free to make either of the next choices. You can consciously choose to stop your work and eat right away, or you can choose acknowledge the hunger and intentionally delay eating until a later time. Either of these conscious choices will lead to something more expansive because you invite your consciousness to create your reality. You may find that you are able to finish the project sooner than anticipated, or that a new, perfect piece of information will come to enhance the project. It is the denial of what you see, feel, know, need, or believe that will lead you to undesired consequences. While it is the Year of Grace and you are surrounded by Love, this higher vibration that holds you in compassion also holds you to a higher level of Clarity and personal accountability. The Year 2007 offers the experience of embracing Clarity and having all the information you need available to you in every moment.

Another example to illustrate this is to imagine you are driving a car on the freeway and you suddenly feel very sleepy. With the gift of Grace, you know the sleepiness arises to encourage you notice something. You have a choice to pull over to take the next rest stop, for you find inevitably that if you ignore the sleepiness then something will occur that would not have been your choice, such as an accident. Every time you ignore yourself or your truth, something will occur in your life that is not of your choosing. This is simply because when you deny your conscious self access to your truth, you remove yourself from the realm of choices in the situation. If you choose to be numb or to ignore something, you no longer have a choice about it, whereas if you choose to see something, even something as simple as noticing you feel sleepy, then you have a choice. The choices from there are many -- you might turn up the radio, or open the windows, or you can pull over and rest. When you pay attention, you always have a choice, and when you deny your truth, your do not. Another way to look at the year 2007 is as the Year of Consequences.

Therefore, when you have something occur in the year 2007 that you did not consciously choose, the way to work with this undesired situation is to stop and think of what characteristics of the situation existed before that you did not pay attention to. If you have a headache, you can look back and notice the emotions you have ignored, or the physical needs have had that went unacknowledged, or the people you spent time with who you did not want to be near. There will always be pieces of the puzzle to notice later that you were unable to notice at the time. You will learn from looking back to see your needs and your truths as you move forward into them. This new foresight is Clarity, and we welcome you to this higher way of living. We welcome you to the challenges that this will bring, and we remind you that we are here with you in every moment through every challenge to support you and to help you see and embrace your magnificent truth!
