Re: Earthlog: Total Lunar Eclipse in Virgo

Dear Celia, I live in South of Brasil and the moon at the eclipse moment was the same we see in your photo. I noticed another beautiful characteristic too. The moon seemed to be translucent. It seemed to be an amber disk, enlightened from behind. It was about midnight when the moon entered completely under the Earth shadow and it was very high in the clear sky. I took some photos too, but couldn´t get them out of the camera... yet, I hope. If I get them out I´ll send the photos by this e-mail. Thanks for your enlightened words. Love, Malu.
