A mentor can share a perspective, and some understanding.....but at the end of the day you are actually your best teacher.

It does take a little getting used to the idea, sort of like having to take responsibility for your own journey - scary when there is no 'roadmap' as such! But through trials and tribulations you will find out thats it's really a discovery of learning to trust ones own guidence, it's the best compass -(and everyones way is different) but you sound like you are well on the way!
