Doom and gloom VS messages of peace and transformation

Hi all,

I have been listening to a wide variety of information lately, possibly too much because my head is spinning. I have listened to a lot of Abraham-Hicks for a long time and also Bashar which I love and are my favorite sources of information. I also enjoy the channeling from the Pleadians. Now today I discovered John Jay Harper and listened to his information regarding 2012 and the potential solar cycle cataclysm that is possibly coming and also information about a possible ice age. This seems awfully doom and gloom to me. Deep inside myself there is a voice that says there is nothing to worry about and I trust myself more than anything else but what do you all think? (For the sake of discussion not because I need another's truth to substitute for my own)

How is it that if the planet is warming up due to global warming that we will have an ice age? I don't understand why but will research more on the matter.

Anyway, as far as I understand it Abraham and Bashar bring good news. Even the pleadian channeling is positive and speaks of a great and wonderful shift in consciousness for mankind. Why are we always so focused on doom and gloom?

I have heard it said from various sources that our reality and planet Earth is a perfectly balanced system and than all is well. I am inclined to choose that as my reality but I'm very open minded and listen to all kinds of information which often leads to more questions. I always use my inner guidance to affirm or deny what I hear and this always works for me.

What are your thoughts?
