The Healing Power of Lightworkers

Lightworkers are those who volunteered, before birth, to help the planet and its population heal from the effects of fear. Each lightworker is here for a sacred purpose. Very often, however, life on earth with its material focus creates a form of amnesia in lightworkers. They then forget their divine and perfect identities, and also their abilities to miraculously help the earth and all living creatures. When lightworkers forget their true identity and purpose, they feel lost and afraid.

Your are a lightworker if you: feel called to heal others; want to resolve the world's social and environmental problems; believe that spiritual methods can heal any situation; have had mystical experiences, such as psychic premonitions or angelic encounters; have endured harsh life experiences that eroded the knowledge of your Divine perfection; want to heal your own life as a first step in healing the world; feel compelled to write, teach, or counsel about your healing experiences, or feel a sense of time urgency to fulfill your mission before you know that you are here for a higher purpose, or even if you are unsure what it is or how to fulfill it.

Everywhere on the planet right now, lightworkers are awakening to faint memories about why they came to earth. They hear an inner calling that can't be ignored. This call is a reminder that it is now time to stop toying with material dreams, and get to work.

Many lightworkers are discovering innate spiritual gifts, such as psychic communication skills and spiritual healing abilities. These are the gifts that we volunteered to use to heal the earth and her population during the crucial decades surrounding the millennium.

Prophecies predicted our coming, and now it is time for us to fulfill our Divine purposes. The world depends upon us!

We who are lightworkers don't necessarily need to add anything to ourselves to prepare for our mission. We already have innate abilities, even if they are presently dormant. Instead, we need to work on releasing fears which keep us from feeling confident in our lightworker abilities. When you remind yourself that your power as a lightworker comes from your higher self and God (not from "you") you automatically feel more assured of your abilities as a spiritual healer.

With our focused intent, thought, and spirit, we can heal anything. There are no limits, except those we place upon our healing abilities.

We definitely can heal the earth with our spiritual approach.
In fact, scientists have recently demonstrated that people can change water and air temperature and also cloud structures, purely through their thoughts. Researchers have known for years that prayer positively affects plants and animals. These studies reveal something that many lightworkers have already known: our collective prayers and healing thoughts can avert prophecies of world trauma.

There is only one spirit and one mind, and we are all part of this collective intelligence and love. Miraculous results in scientific laboratories are demonstrating the factual basis of the oneness of all life. Not long ago, U.S. and Japanese scientists hooked-up test subjects to blood pressure and heart monitor machines. Simultaneously, in separate and sealed rooms, other test subjects were asked to think loving or angry thoughts about the people hooked-up to the machines. At the exact instant when a subject held a loving thought, the monitored person's blood pressure and heart rate significantly dropped. And then, at the precise moment when an angry thought was projected, the person's vital signs skyrocketed upward.

We who are lightworkers are already aware of the power of our thoughts.
What we are continuing to learn, however, is that our thoughts are even more powerful than we suspected! A large part of our lightworker function, then, is to continuously monitor our own thoughts to ensure that they are from a high and loving plane. When we occasionally slip into fearful or judgmental thoughts, we can release these thought forms to the angels who surround us, knowing that these spiritual companions want to help us fulfill our sacred purpose.

If your intuition is urging you toward a healing function, you can be sure that this is a Divine voice and not just wishful thinking. In recent years, a spiritual call has been broadcast-like a psychic "help wanted" ad-asking for lightworkers to awaken to their healing roles. Those who have heard the call sometimes contact me, asking for reassurance that this inner voice isn't setting them up for disappointment or possible failure.

I can certainly understand this fear, since I experienced it myself. When I was a young mother of two and an uneducated housewife, I began having spontaneous visions in which I saw myself as a healer and author. These visions frightened me, because I didn't think that I had the time, money, or intelligence to succeed. So I began overeating to silence the inner voice and visions. I didn't feel ready or qualified to awaken to my mission.

What I was doing was the equivalent of pushing the "snooze button" on my spiritual alarm clock. Overeating was my way of delaying God's plan for me, because food would temporarily drown out the sound and sight of my Divine life plan. I gained nearly 50 pounds before I finally surrendered to the Creator and asked for help in making my inner vision a reality. I discovered that as soon as I committed to following my life purpose, doors opened up for me in succession. In miraculous ways that I could never have planned for, everything in my visions became a reality.

We cannot fail when we accept the mission we chose for ourselves prior to incarnation.
The power and intelligence of the One mind makes no mistakes. We would not have been assigned our lightworker role, were we not perfectly qualified. Since we are made in the image and likeness of One who is all-knowing, all-loving, and able to heal anything, we can relax in the sure knowledge that we were born to heal.

The problem I see in people thinking they are or aren't healers, it that most define healing as some specific defined action, such as massage, energy work or some other metaphysical or New Age type of activity. The truth is, that we are all healers in various degrees. Being a comedian at work for instance at your 9-5 corporate job to make a great living - is healing. Raising your kids with discipline - is healing. Telling your neighbor he has a nice lawn - is healing. Until the so-called metaphysical - New Age, New Thought community opens their eyes, hearts and beliefs to realize that "they" are a small community with "small" ideals about the definition of healing - and that "they" are no more than just an other "religion" in the we vs. them scenerio on this planet - and in most cases thinking that "they" are special because they're some kind of "healer" - things will never change. In fact, just realize that MOST of the most powerful Healers on this planet - cannot even spell the word Metaphysical, New Age, New Thought etc.........nor are labeled as "spiritual" - they're just normal people, going to work everyday doing their thing and living life, looking for happiness.............I'd like to see life on this planet without the contrast - positive and negative - but God did not make this place that way. Face it - we have to live with Good and Bad as it's defined. The difference is how YOU deal with it. Happiness is NOT 24 hour Bliss. Happiness is whatever you make it and I promise you, you have to live with pain whether you want it or not. Some things aren't meant to be "Healed" as the spiritual community defines it. Jesus Christ was an example - he was tortured in more ways than one. Was he healed from it? Not until he died and passed into the next dimension. So, I have to disagree a little with Ms. Doreen Virtue. Most everyone who's reading this column IS already doing their healing work right now. They just may not acknowledge it as such - and you know what? It doesn't matter whether they know it or not or it is acknowledged or not. The heart must open and a person must do what they feel without denying who and what they are. Open your minds a little bit folks - your healing gift might be that you're the person who is assigned to inject the lethal drug into a person after they've been sentenced to death for a heinous crime - or perhaps you're the nurse or doctor that unplugs the breathing machine on your relative, allowing them to pass on............ Healing is a 24 hour occurance and comes in a million forms for every person on this planet.........that's why we're here. It's not just some "spiritually" labeled or Metaphysical, New Age, New Thought activity or belief..........look around - there are over 6 Billion people here at any one given time...........think bigger folks!

Responding to KB. U are on the right track, but its sad to see that you have disdain for your fellow 'folks'. There are alot of people that are afraid to even talk about the metaphysical in case of receiving judgement, which you have so generously given in your comments. It often happens that lightworkers live lonely lives because of the healing they do everyday. I am one of these....i have very little close friends, family memebers do not understand me, yet everyday i do my best for fellow human kind, knowing that someone will come into my life to be loved and cleansed of their fear...to leave within the week. A lightworkers path is not easy and they are very different to other people. You are not a lightworker, or else you would know this in your heart. You would know the suffering that goes along with being this bearer of light, in order to be strong enough to transform people. I commend all those lightworkers doing their best...and bug hugs to you all. Also KB you need to do some more research into triality...your nearly there.

I am aplauding you Lelia  ,KB is definatly not a lightworker,or she would know the sometimes lonley life we lead. Although, she does have compassion in her own way,and pionts out many ways to heal. But I do feel that the digs at our beliefs were un called for........

KB-If you do have compassion, and are aware that healing happens in many different and sometimes ordinary ways, can't you find it in your heart to live and let live? Judging others on theyr spiritual path/beliefs is NOT healing for sure.

I have personally met Doreen Virtue, she is the one of the most beautiful souls I have ever had the good fortune of meeting, she walks her talk, and one thing she clearly states at her workshops/events is-"Don't worship me,I am not any better than you,we are the same. I am not special,no more so than you.If I inspire you, great, but don't put me on a pedastool". She mearly gives us tools to work with and encouragment, which we Lightworkers do need.

Lelia,i know exactly what you are saying,i have and am going through the same, keep shinning huni,it's a wonderful job your doing, although,it really does feel lonely.Wishing you Love & Peace,

Janet

Hi. I don't know if this is the right place to ask anything, I find it frustrating to find a site when I can really find the answers Im looking for. I am very interested in angels and all these things, I love all of Doreen Virtues ideas and books and cards. I found her by accident actually, I was looking for Taret cards and her name came up, I was drawn to her at first because she had the same first name as my mom. Then I just loved everything she had to say. Upon reading her book and doing the Quiz for "Earth Angels." I was amazed at how accurate I fit into "Incarnated Angels" I mean, I always felt different growing up. I share many of the same traits, so much it's scary. Almost every single thing fits me so well. I always feel like Im spossed to do something maybe, and that maybe Im special. Like in numberlogy I have a master number 11 that says Im inclined to helping and spirital things. Even my name "Sandra" The meaning means " Helper of humanity" Im a vegetarian also, love animals and people and just am so confuzed. I don't know if I am or just thinking too hightly of myself.

Well... I don't know if a reply will find you since it is 2011. But, I am in the same situation. I read Earth Angels with more than a little doubt... Until I quizzed into the 'Wise Ones'. Every single word hit home! I go back to that book on occasion to get a grip & understand my place in life. 2nite I decided to look into website & found your reply. At age 45, I am a lic. mental health therapist, college prof, single mom, & still learning my 'whys' n this life. My point is.. I no longer want the 'martyr' role that often comes with the healing profession. It stifles healing. Recent epiphany! I c the circumstances that taught me 2 accept being taken advantage of while caretaking of family, friends, employers. Don't get me wrong. I am a strong force to b reckoned with, but have accepted taking adv. of my good heart. I have taught my kids that it is ok to suck the life out of me. The martyr role = resentment, at all levels. Respect of self brings untapped strength. If ne 1 has more info on Wise 1s, please send. I take it light workers are the earth angels?

Thank you Doreen Virtue and the comments on the thread.

I love seeing how common we all sound when we argue about who's healing and who's not.. Who's a lightworker and who's not? .. Is it for us to judge ANYONE on ANY stance that they take or how they look at particular views.. I find myself doing it sometimes but its like a rattlesnake shedding its skin I've been doing it for so long that it became natural to my state of being and if I spend enough time in the light there's no time to go back to hiding in the dark..

Whats funny is that in just ONE moment I can step back and realize how interconnected we all are..

In just ONE moment I can appreciate every belief and view and see the connections they all have back to the same single truth.

Nothing can deny that. I love recognizing this. Blessings <3
