[b]The world is moving through a powerful transition[/b]
Many people around the globe are rapidly realising that humanity is currently facing some very challenging questions, ones that we can no longer deny or avoid because they are beginning to effect us all: what will be the effects of global warming and peak oil? How are we going to deal with over-population, increasing poverty, famine, disease and violence? What is going to happen to our increasingly fragile financial systems? At last it seems some are beginning to address the complexity of the situation.
We have witnessed that it is not as simple as finding new environmentally friendly fuels, imposing democracy on wayward regimes or distributing food to the starving. It is not as simple regulating business, banks and corporations. It is not as simple as writing off third world debt or finding the cure for Aids for example. But what if all of these issues are interconnected? Perhaps they are all offering one important underlying message; a message that we can no longer ignore?
So what is that message, where is the light at the end of the tunnel? Our film "Gateways of Light" seeks to show what is really going on and to point the way forwards. Yes we are moving into very difficult times but they can also be very magical times of great upliftment if approached in the right way.
