Once again the star rises over Bethlehem and the whole world proclaims again the birth of Christ, this time as humanity, because this year is the year of the oneness, of the uniting of all hearts together as Christ. My Message to you, beloved ones, this Christmas is more deep and profound than ever -- that which you do unto others is that which you do unto yourself. More than ever, beloved ones, life on Earth is a reflection of the choices and the vibration in every heart and consciousness.
While those words may speak to some of you only about your actions, I want to say to you, beloved ones, that your thoughts are actions too. Everything that you think about another person comes through your body, your being and your heart and sets forth a clear vibration. That vibration manifests in your life, beloved ones, as perfectly as if you had requested it of Me in your prayers at night.
God said:
The first day of winter is a harbinger of spring. The Earth already readies itself for the great blossoming that is beginning its budding now. The snow covers the Earth and keeps it warm. The cold snow keeps the Earth warm. Everything is a blessing. Snow is a blessing. Cold is a blessing. If there were not cold, how would there be snow to blanket the Earth?
The same snow that warms the Earth also cools it. Snow associates itself with the temperature of the Earth. All adjustment is automatic. Snow doesn’t have to be told what to do. Earth doesn’t have to be told what to do. Snow does not have to decide when to melt, nor does it resist it. In this way, melting snow resembles your open heart.
Today I would ask you to set yourself a goal: to allow yourself to feel love and affection for others without turning this love into neediness or demands for love in return.
The most important relationship you have in the world is with yourself, a relationship of deep respect, trust and love, where you feel whole and complete just as you are. And once that is firmly established, you can learn to love others in a warm and caring way, centered in a form of giving that is a glow from your inner self, rather than a form of giving that is really trading, where you will give love only in exchange for a promise of love in return.
Love without trying to get is not martyrdom or sacrifice. It is not painful. If you are feeling hurt, lonely and overlooked, then you are not feeling love; you are feeling the lack of love for yourself.
