Give thanks for each breath
you take, for each note of music you hear, for smiles and laughter, and for the
joy within you, deep inside, always there, ever present, a deep joy in simply
being alive.
Give thanks for being who you
are, just as you are in this moment, on this day, right now.
Sometimes the rains fall from
heaven and gently nourish your fields, even though you do little. And sometimes
the sky dries up, the plants begin to wither, and you wonder where the love and
bounty have gone.
See yourself
standing in the center of a circle. Around you are concentric circles reaching
out and out, showing you your life in one year, five years, ten years and more.
See how things are likely to be, based on what you think and do right now.
When you think
and talk about how tired you are, how exhausted and overwhelmed you feel, you
are making it even more true. Today, when you
hit that low-energy point, instead of declaring it, stop and energize yourself
instead.
Say to yourself,
"I am full of energy. I am clear and focused. I am a powerhouse of energy."
Lead with your heart. Let
your heart show you the way. Come down here, down deep,
where your heart beats, red liquid life flowing through. Feel how your heart
knows the flow. Feel how the heartbeat of the entire world is like this, like
this life blood that flows through your veins. Your heart knows the flow.
Your heart and center are
vast intuitive instruments, feeling and sensing what is and what is likely to
be, flowing under the surface of what only appears to be. Those intuitive
feelings you have in the depths of your heart and center tell you what is true.
Look around. Look around
with new eyes. For every wall that has
fallen, a passageway now exists that did not exist before. A barrier has been
removed and the open vista of life stretches out ahead.
The winds of change blow
across your life. Sometimes change is like a gentle breeze that kisses your
cheek on a spring day. Sometimes change is like a tornado that uproots your
life.
