When something shows up in our life, do we pause to appreciate it or do shrug it off because it's is know exactly what we want? Do we shrug it off because this is a fact we already know about self or something we don't want to hear? Think about why we turn something away.
I usually receive this card when I am questioning how my life is going. It is always a message that encourages me to step back from the immersion in what is happening in front of my physical eyes and take a more neutral view of my reality.
It's a beautiful morning and I've just plopped down in a comfy chair on the deck overlooking my backyard. I enjoy starting the day by listening to the birds as the early light slowly brightens the sky.
Last week I was in London with my son Owen for lunch with a friend. We were early so we went for a walk in Hyde Park. It was a crisp, cold morning with the sun peeping through every now and then. There were lots of people in the park, all of course with guardian angels.

The lows of life are not the illusion we create, where all seems lost or hopeless. The lows of life are essentially a reset. We come to a point in our life to where we choose to stay in the reset cycle until we learn what is desired, or we transform our life to welcome new energies. The lows of life bring varying distractions, disappointments, and even depression. However, what gets us through the will of self and hope for something better.
I am not really a sentimental person but I am someone who appreciates the symbolic meaning of the events of our lives, among them our holidays and holy days. Thanksgiving is certainly among our most favorite holidays.
