Freedom is something we all say we want, but it is an interesting quirk of human nature that receiving freedom can feel more challenging than literally being in prison. According to statistics in the U.S, UK and Australia two out of every three prisoners re-offend and return to prison within 3 years of release.
Cycles are a grand part of our spiritual evolution. We repeat cycles constantly and consistently through sleep and routines. Our cycle offers us opportunities of rejuvenation and evolution. With each cycle progression, we can choose to stay stagnant or evolve. If we choose to stay stagnate, we feel comfortable in the space we create to live in, but does it serve our higher purpose?
On December 21, 2012 - the last day of a human calendar created ages ago - sit and simply give thanks for all that has gone before - every pain, every hardship, every blessing, and every joy… for every experience in your life has taught you. Every experience in your life has driven you to seek greater love.
There are two types of cycles, one to perpetuate learned or self destructive behaviors and the other to sustain life. Both cycles are created to protect us, the soul from any form of harm. As individuals and a collective we create these cycles unconsciously. The cycles are created to numb any sensation felt from previous experiences to protect us, the soul, from harm whether it is emotional, mental or physical. The question now becomes; how to we break a cycle protecting us?
As some of you might know, during this Full Moon the second Harmonic Convergence took place. The first one was in 1987, and while it had a great effect on me personally, I noticed that after that auspicious date, many of us noticed that there was more of a serious nature to our spirituality. It was like the Universe said, “OK, time to grow up and begin to remember who exactly you are.”
In this day and age, a transition is taking place on earth. A new
consciousness is dawning which will take material shape sooner or later. How
exactly this transition will come about, what form it will take, is not fixed.
The future is always indeterminate. The only thing that is really given is this
moment: the Now.
Expand and contract seem to be the rhythm of the world. Cold
contracts and heat expands. And so go the seasons. Winter closes unto
itself and spring bursts into bloom.
And so you, My children, also have your seasons, those in which you
are active, and those in which you are less active. Each serves the
other.
