Looking into the aspects and energies of this moon, it feels quite appropriate for what has been the life-changing journey of 2012. The last moon phase of the year is the Big Winter Moon in December, also called Long Night’s Moon, or the Cold Moon.
December's Cancer full Moon occurs on December 28 and it's one that is linking up directly with the Uranus/Pluto square that we've been experiencing over this last year. It is asking many direct questions and it's a very potent time for change and renewal.

The eclipse speaks of many things - as lunations always do - but the crux of it, I figure is the image of reaching deeply into oneself and others in order to get to the pure, refreshing waters of who we and others are. It's also about opening up the heart, healing our wounds and finding our place.
As we prepare for the Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse on Wednesday, November 28, there is a lot of rearranging, letting go and physical manifestations occurring. Secrets, especially within families, are being revealed, clearing the old energies out of wherever they are hiding. They simply cannot hide anymore, especially within ourselves. Hello friends. It’s the Full Moon before Halloween, the “Hunter’s Moon” and it’s a powerful one. Time has been moving so quickly in the past week and this weekend we have an Aries moon which is also a fast mover. The upcoming Full Moon in is Taurus which definitely is a slower and more meditative type of energy. The Sabian Symbols for the current Sun and Moon are particularly powerful and interesting, and a good reflective time as we prepare to go into the current energies even deeper.
So this week we have another pass of the Uranus/Pluto square making a big connection with the upcoming Full Moon in Aries which has some people feeling dread. As a side note, we have five more direct alignments of the Uranus/Pluto square energy between now and 2015. A personal and collective transformation is real and we’re soaking in it! I see this upcoming Full Moon as an interesting opportunity. Let’s explore this further.
This channel was given to us 2 days after the Blue Moon in August. The energies were still very powerful and the Goddess drew from that energy to assist us in clearing, releasing and opening. During this meditation, once we arrived in the All That Is, she assisted us in opening to our perspective. We all have our life experiences and changes we want to bring in. Where we are, what’s happening around all contribute to what that perspective may be. Even in the All That Is, there is a certain amount of limitation. So The Goddess assisted in removing the veil and opening to even more.
As I wrote in the last Ascension Note of August 13, we were entering a rest/integration period. With the coming of the Full Moon, that period is ending…or closely thereafter. During this time, before we begin the new phase, many have stepped into a new level of Awareness and Expansion, integrating more of their Soul Essence. It has been a time of practical application.
August's full Moon in Aquarius, falling on August 2nd, is, thankfully, a better, more promising and positive full Moon than we've seen in a long time. It feels like we've been given a break, for sure. However, we have a few things to sort out in our minds, hearts and lives in order to get the most out of it.
