This powerful Full Moon and Total Lunar Eclipse sets the pace for an energetic and highly paced summer. Change is afoot on so many levels it may feel a little overwhelming and confusing, yet if we can find a little quiet time to reflect and contemplate, we can soon re-focus and re-connect to the strength, fire and passion that resides within.
This week the second of three eclipses arrives and we have had many reminders of where we need to create closure and allow endings. This week brings a total lunar eclipse, which always involves emotions, the mother and feminine energies, and issues around power and relationships. The moon being 'eclipsed' or blocked out by the sun, is a metaphor that reminds us of where we give our power away and how we limit ourselves by fear, including self sabotage and the role that our emotions play in how we create our life.
June's Sagittarius full Moon is a total lunar eclipse. Occurring on June 15 in the United States and June 16 in Australia, this is a relatively rare central eclipse, with the total eclipse lasting a long duration of around 100 minutes.
I expect by now that you are feeling the full onslaught of the effects from the June Solar/Lunar eclipse and solar flare, Summer Solstice (June 21st) gauntlet... Whew! It has been interesting to say the least. Just prior to the first eclipse, I had a powerful vision. I could see the great divine director a.k.a. the creative energy of the universe, begin to create new form!

The effects of a lunar eclipse can last for months, so whatever is being birthed now is likely to be reflected and worked out for some time to come.

I don't know about you, but the few days leading up to the solstice, I thought I might spontaneously combust. There was so much energy running through my body that I was positive I would blow a circuit... and if there was a self-destruct button on me, I definitely would have pushed it. From the 19th-21st I was so played-out and genuinely miserable that I found myself day-dreaming about what it would be like to be dead.
On July 22, 2009 we enter the sign of Leo and the Sphinx Stargate, as we all stand at the entrance to a new understanding of Light, Life and Love. On that day rise early from your sleep and walk out to meet the Goddess Isis in the form of the Star SIRIUS as she rises before the Sun of the Sun. Within her loins of light live three Stars. Two are known and one comes forth in all of her glory.
We are being gifted with a period of powerful energy shifts and changes indicated by the 3 eclipses occurring within the next 7 weeks. The Lunar Eclipse on the 7th July will indicate the opening of this Gateway; the Solar Eclipse on the 22nd July will indicate the midpoint and the Lunar Eclipse on the 6th August will be the closing of the Gateway.
