What would happen if you were to eat something unhealthy but believe it was good for you … or something healthy but believe it was bad for you? It seems that what we believe matters more than we think.
When wisdom leads, the mind is aligned with the heart, for these two parts of you in balance offer wholeness. You choose with your mind, for it is your instrument of direction. Your heart is your instrument of connection. Your heart is connected through all time, not just one direction of time. Your heart knows all directions as Love, as beneficial

We are, as usual, outside on the hill. And one of the reasons I wanted to record these forecasts in nature is so that not only do we have the peace energy that gets exuded to support the forecast, but also so that those of you who don’t have opportunities to go into open nature very often get to experience some of that energy while you are watching the video.
Do you ever feel that you have a 6th sense? I often wonder why it’s such a taboo subject. As a child growing up in the 70s, I learned that anything extraordinary was to be feared, that it was supernatural. That’s quite a normal attitude in western society.
Today a need to make sense of our experience may cause us to overlook some important data available to help us do just that. In an attempt to create a coherent narrative about our circumstances we may neglect our intuition as it whispers truths which can arise in no other form.
If you’ve read some of my other blogs you’ll be familiar with the Mirror Neuron System (MNS). If this is your first visit, then Welcome! Mirror neurons do what they say on the tin, so to speak. They are brain cells (neurons) that are involved in mirroring what you perceive. So if you’re watching me flex my fingers, your brain thinks you’re flexing your fingers. These cells mirror what you see me doing so in some ways your brain doesn’t distinguish between whether you’re watching someone doing something or doing it yourself.
My beloved friends, in reality it is easy to make the turn to choose to live in the truth of Love, to step free of every illusion -- especially the illusion of fear -- and to stand open-hearted and joyous in the garden of the awakened spirit, receiving the breath of God. In reality you are part of a circle of Love that cannot be broken, that is so strong that it is made of the universe and is supported by the continual birthing of God into the beauty you are.
My dear friends... And so we begin another year. Another cycle in the continuous circling of the Earth around the Sun. Another passage of the Body, Mind, and Soul through the Labyrinth of Life. And as we end the latest of these rotations and begin again yet another, every thinking person must ask, “What is the point of this? Are we truly just going round in circles, pretending that our elliptical course is a straight line actually going somewhere?
When I was compiling stories on visualization a few years ago, a woman sent in her use of visualization for losing weight. She first started imagining pac man type beings eating all the fat cells from the bits she wanted to lose weight from. She was doing it five times a day. She began to lose weight but then was faced with a dilemma.
Last week, a good friend called to tell me that she lost her wallet. She was overwhelmed with the idea of having to replace her credit cards, debit card, license, etc., and the biggest stress of all was in not knowing exactly what she had lost. She hadn't kept a record of the contents of her wallet.
Now that the Olympics and the Paralympics are over, I wanted to write a short piece on how the mind can improve athletic performance. Setting aside mental strength, which was clearly demonstrated by Andy Murray when he won the US Open Tennis the other day (I’m writing these words the following morning after having stayed up to 2am to watch the game), visualization – or mental imagery as some call it – can have a huge impact on performance.
