Something within us is waking up. We all know that, but right now the cosmos reminds us to stay alert to the awakening, because as assured as it is, it is also in our hands.
With the Moon now in Virgo, we have an opportunity to get to grips with the detail of things that have been overwhelming us of late and a connection between the Moon, Mars, Uranus and Pluto today helps us further with this task.
The Moon is now in Leo where she remains for a couple of days, flying the flag for the fire element in the face of an abundance of air and water energy.
Today’s Taurus Moon helps us further ground the new energies that have been flooding in since the end of May. This is particularly good timing due to the current potential for distraction. That said, if you can afford to be distracted today then go with it.
This afternoon (15:55 GMT) the Moon enters Taurus for two and a half days. Generally speaking a Taurus Moon is seen as fairly stubborn and uncomfortable with change, but this particular Moon has a whole other quality to it thanks to an alliance with Mars, Saturn and Venus.
Today a Moon/Saturn conjunction in Scorpio could leave us feeling somewhat burdened, even overwhelmed. This is not the overwhelm of too much to do and not enough time, more like too much to fear and not enough faith.
This weekend the Moon travels through Virgo. Here she has a choice: to lose herself in the pursuit of perfection which renders everything lacking and forever in need of improvement, or to recognise and celebrate the perfection inherent in each moment, regardless of how it may appear on the surface.
Today Jupiter and the Moon join hands in Gemini, expanding our horizons and providing us with a much needed confidence boost. The confidence of Gemini is not about power and durability, but about the ability to shake things off and move on when necessary.
The Moon teams up with Pluto today, creating a fusion of energies which could go one of two ways: either we decide we can’t cope with what life’s throwing at us or we decide we can, and either way, to paraphrase Henry Ford, we’ll be right!
Hello friends. Well here we have it, the last Full Moon of 2012 and it promises to be a powerful one! Looking into the aspects and energies of this moon, it feels quite appropriate for what has been the life-changing journey of 2012. The last moon phase of the year is the Big Winter Moon in December, also called Long Night’s Moon, or the Cold Moon.
The Wesak or “Buddha” moon (first Full moon of May,) is one of the most spiritually powerful of the year. Based on the history and legend, it is when the two streams of consciousness represented by Master Jesus Christ and Lord Buddha, come together to illuminate the Earth and all sentient beings upon her (if they would so receive the blessing.) Wesak this year is Saturday, 5.5.12 at 8:35 pm PDT.
