As the Sun and the Moon prepare for a beautiful celestial dance, each of us can expect to feel the beginning of some powerful and profound shifts within. This process has already begun in earnest as we can feel buoyant and full of optimism one moment, but lost and despondent the next. Some may call this ascension syndrome, others call it evolution; either way, we can each expect to feel euphoric, empty, blissful, hollow and peaceful all at the same time.
May's Gemini new Moon occurs on May 21st and is a partial solar eclipse. Coming after the last few Super Moons, this is a powerful eclipse that will have interesting and wonderful possibilities. From Wikipedia: It will be the first central eclipse of the 21st century in the continental USA, and also the first annular eclipse there since the solar eclipse of May 10, 1994 which was also the previous eclipse of this series Solar Saros 128.

‘An Electrical Storm’ can really wake us up. Sometimes it comes out of the blue, when we’re not expecting it. As it approaches there is a strong build up of energy and things can become stuck and static. There is a feeling of something pending, the tension and promise of a breaking point occurring at any minute. As it ‘Illuminates the Heavens and the Forests’, it sheds flashes of light on the environment or the immediate situation.
This has been a particularly Uranian time that we've been experiencing for some months. The energy has been electric, confused, pushy and yet slow, somehow organised and then somehow deranged, and, generally, all over the shop (especially so with Mars retrograde in Virgo since January 25).
February's Pisces new Moon occurs on February 21 in the U.S. and February 22 in Australia. This new Moon is a powerfully Piscean one as it is conjunct (together with) Neptune, Pallas Athena and Chiron, with Mercury leading the charge further into Pisces. Talk about having to get one's story right! This new Moon holds so much potential for exploring the story that we tell ourselves (I see Chiron very much as that - the stories we tell ourselves)

I know that some don't realise that the effects of the new and full Moons stretch on into the future, sometimes for the coming month and sometimes longer if major events happen during the month in question, so please know that this influence is still very much around.
Are worries and nervous tension giving you a psychic headache that won't seem to dissipate? You may still be feeling the residual affects from the latest solar flare activity or you may be tuning into the energy of the turnaround of Mars [in Virgo] within the heavenly picture. This is the shift where the red planet halts its forward movement and begins doing back flips for the next 80 days or so. The week is also being amplified by last night's New Moon which coincidentally kicks off the Chinese lunar New Year of the Black Water Dragon today.
It hardly seems possible that just a few months ago we were talking about the Fall Equinox (spring for those in the southern hemisphere) and now we're at the Winter (or Summer) Solstice. We also finally ended Mercury retrograde (that was a relief) although its shadow period lasts until Dec. 31, and we celebrate Christmas this week and a powerful new moon. This has been the case the last few months, where everything happens at once as we prepare for our next big event, which is the beginning of 2012
All this year we have, bit by bit, been integrating Unity Consciousness into our Being. It is complete with the 12th Gateway of the Winter Solstice. Unity Consciousness awakens us even more fully and awakens many more people choosing Ascension. It is the completion of the awakening of the Collective Heart....bringing more Compassion and Understanding for ourselves and all other beings.
The new Moon in Sagittarius happens on November 25 and is a partial solar eclipse which happens just hours after Mercury goes retrograde. This is the first of two eclipses, the second one will be on December 10, in Gemini, and will be a total lunar eclipse. The Sabian Symbol for the new Moon is Sagittarius 3: Two Men Playing Chess.
October's new Moon occurs on October 27 in Australia and October 26 in the United States. The Sabian Symbol is very interesting in the light of the fact that it falls just a few days before Halloween. The Symbol is Scorpio 4: A Youth Holding A Lighted Candle In A Devotional Ritual Gains A Sense Of The Great 'Other World'.
Many are wondering about October 28. According to some, it is the end of the Mayan Calendar, rather than the end being December 21, 2012. I am one who knows that time is different than it ever has been; it is non-linear now. So why should a particular date portend an event as significant as this?
