Messages about planetary cycles

This energy is a double-edge sword in that you may “feel” positive and optimistic - which is a good thing - but it is also prone to excess - which brings us to the philosophy of “anything in moderation”or “balance in all things”. Be positive but be alert too! Beware of the urge to go overboard on any level. Use this energy to tap into your courageous side and attempt something you have avoided out of fear or doubt.

This Full Moon in in the sign of Gemini in which change and communication are highlighted. The Power/Totem Animal that is also associated with Gemini moon is “Coyote,” which brings a fun, changeable mischievous kind of energy to the fore. Both Sagittarius (our current Sun) and Gemini have to do with *signs,* and sometimes they may come in the most unlikely of places.

For those who have been following the posts over the past couple of weeks, you'll know that I've described this series of Eclipses and Alignments as like being a car wash/rinse/dry process. Well here we are at the 'getting dried' part of the cycle with the Lunar Eclipse Full Moon.

The eclipse speaks of many things - as lunations always do - but the crux of it, I figure is the image of reaching deeply into oneself and others in order to get to the pure, refreshing waters of who we and others are. It's also about opening up the heart, healing our wounds and finding our place.

Today we have an extremely powerful combination of energy. If it is properly channeled, magical results are possible. If your ego is engaged, tragic results are possible. This is ‘lower will’ versus ‘higher will’ increasing each other’s strength and potency. So if you know who you are and what you want, then this energy can catapult you to the next level, giving you endless energy, power and drive to accomplish your goals.

This is a mixed blessing energy. On one hand, it's good for spiritual study and giving your dreams a little energy (if your schedule permits). On the other hand, it makes for major miscommunications between people. Try to THINK before speaking, because if it's possible to misunderstand or not 'get it' all together, it will happen this week.

This energy is perfect for working on your “grand vision” and that is exactly what you’ll “feel” like doing. Anything or anyone that blocks you from that should be consciously (and kindly) dealt with and then get to it! Mars is action and Jupiter is expansion and they are dancing together.

This energy triggers your idealistic side and provokes a desire to understand things on a deeper, more spiritual level. Try to use this energy to reflect on where you are and where you want to be, mentally, spiritually and physically. Take time to meditate and be still, quiet and alone.

The key to getting through this energy is to take a step back, reflect on your choices and what led you to this point and, as objectively as possible, evaluate what went wrong. The tendency with this energy is to want to give up completely on the path you have chosen when all that is necessary is a little tweaking. Identify the aspect that is causing the conflict.

Message for October 2012

Welcome. October looks set to be a month of cosmic twists and turns as new waves of insights reach deeply into the collective consciousness stirring up powerful shifts and realisations, both personally and collectively.

This energy has to do with your obligations within the context of relationships. They are not difficult obligations (in this case) but more emphasis is placed on enjoying serving those you love. This is also what I would call the "keep it real" energy, regarding relationships. This energy makes you want to really sit down and define your terms within your relationships (which I am a TOTAL advocate of).
