Question: I heard the Dalai Lama say that secular spirituality is more important than religious spirituality. Do you think your teaching belongs to this category?
As the Sikh man walked towards the circle of unlit candles he was surrounded by angels. Behind him stood his guardian angel and as he reached to taper out to light the candle, his guardian angel reached out as if to hold the taper with him. The Sikh man lit one of the candles on the table. Beside each of the candles stood a very tall angel, dwarfing both the people and the other angels in the room. Their folded wings reached far up above the ceiling which seemed to have disappeared. These angels all looked alike. They appeared to be draped in golden robes which fell in perfect folds. The angels were so bright, and the light from them radiated out into the room.
When people have been programmed to be compliant the decision making process in their lives are easily transferred to the overseers. Humanity has been trained to take orders this includes even those that lead. This is the purpose of modern day education. It is indeed true that education was not always this way but even then the programming existed side by side in subtle ways.
I am excited this week to share with you a wonderful excerpt from The New Revelations that I happened upon the other day as I was re-reading this extraordinary text. This passage answers a question that I am asked all the time, and I just knew as soon as I chanced upon it that I wanted to put it in this space, so that you could be touched by it!
The views of humanity on so many things have been impacted by our ideas about God and about God’s desiresthat it’s hard to decide what other areas of life interaction to include on this list. The truth is, this exploration could take up an entire book. We’re not going to be that expansive. We’ll limit our survey to ten more subjects: Male and Female, Marriage, Sex, Homosexuality, Love, Money, Free Will, Suffering, Morality, and Death.
We begin today a survey of some of the things many people have been told by their ancestors, by their parents, by their teachers and by other authority figures in their lives, about What God Wants.
It may be tough for some of you to get through this survey. Please do it anyway.
The present phase of linear time on your planet is a uniquely opportune juncture for self-review and chosen solitude. Masters many of you, particularly those above the age of 49, the seventh 7 year cycle, find yourselves in a state of solitude, after spouses have passed, relationships terminated and marriage contracts have ended. And although this path is at times quite lonely, quite difficult and may feel 'unnatural' for many of you, it is with purpose. So we tell you to use this time wisely, embrace it. You are on the cusp of a great graduation.
You live during a time when the old is crumbling beneath your feet, and the new may be feeling choppy and unfamiliar. The old ways were born out of false notions, superstitions, and fear-based manipulation and control. These old traditions, which include much of the conventional paradigm of your modern culture, are broken.
