The annular solar eclipse (solar eclipses are always on a new Moon) in Taurus is the second of three consecutive eclipses. So, with this eclipse, we are half-way through this current eclipse season.
Occurring on April 10, the Aries new Moon is another very powerful lunation. With such a line-up in Aries - Uranus, the Sun, the Moon, Mars, Eris and Venus all in Aries - the energies are bound to be heightened, to say the least.
The full Moon falls on Wednesday March 27. It's a very powerful full Moon and there's bound to be some shifts on many levels and in many ways. The Sabian Symbol is Libra 7: A Woman Feeding Chickens And Protecting Them From The Hawks.
The highlights of this full Moon include a tight t-square from Jupiter, Chiron conjuncting the Sun and opposing the Moon, Mars conjuncting Mercury and Venus conjuncting Neptune. All in all, a rather interesting, instructive, psychic and healing full Moon.
The Aquarian new moon falls on February 10 and it is another very challenging one, but as with all lunations, full of promise and possibility. This Aquarian new Moon has not only an Aquarian emphasis, with Moon, Sun and Venus in Aquarius, but also a strong Piscean influence, with Neptune, Mars, Mercury and Chiron in Pisces - all within a few degrees of each other. This can bring confusion all the way to enlightenment.
January's full Moon falls on January 26 in the United States and January 27 in Australia. The theme of this full Moon is very much about overthrowing the 'old guard' and taking on the new. It shows a need to get your own agenda going, not to bend to the needs or desires of others when they really don't have anything to contribute to your sense of self or accomplishment.
January's Capricorn new Moon falls on January 11 in the United States and January 12 in Australia. This new Moon is one of knowing when to fight and when to let go - when to stay in the game and when to change course - to decide what battles are worth fighting and what one's are not worth the time and energy one expends.
With the strong geomagnetic storms that are erupting now, it's amazingly synchronistic that the Sabian Symbol for the new Moon is Cancer 27: A Furious Storm In A Canyon Filled With Valuable Homes. The wording in this Symbol is rather strong and may cause concern for some. Please note that the 'storm' can come in many forms and it may not actually play out in your life on a personal level - some will see it reflected in events in the world outside.

These sure are interesting times and many people are reporting that they're not particularly enjoying the very intense energies that have been around. Of course, as is natural in the scheme of things, some are doing fine, rowing their boat and getting on with their lives. However, they will most likely have quite a few people around them that are finding it difficult to find the direction, the vehicle, the impetus, the approval or the oars that they need. What a handful of energies we're confronted with with this full Moon in Libra.
I am hearing many comment that they're having a particularly difficult time at the moment, or, their friends are experiencing difficulties and restrictions that are troubling them. It's certainly not an easy time. I imagine that, as with all times, it's a very meaningful one. Smack on Christmas, it's not an easy time to have Mercury retrograde. Add to that the fact that it went retrograde (I often call it 'wretchrograde') smack on Pluto, Mars and the Moon's North Node (a karmic point of destiny), and we have a potent stew of ambitions, anger, aggression, desires, frustrations, disappointments and passions, etc. Life is certainly not easy for many, and this line up is bound to be pushing some buttons.
Speaking of which, this newsletter is late as I had a computer failure halfway through writing it. Taking a week to repair, we thought it was the mother board, but it was the processor. The processor certainly reflects the Sabian Symbol for this new Moon: Circular Paths. Something to bear in mind as you're reading this is that the new Moon has an influence over the coming month and things that happen in the course of the Moon can signify new beginnings that are reflected for some time to come. We process the energies, events and issues that come up and learn from them.
