The month of May has for the most felt "intense" - but then again hasn't every month this year? The build to today's eclipse has been personal and everything is amplified. Many felt overwhelmed in the fiery energy of emotional outbursts, body pain and uncertainty. Each one of us has within us parts of our "story" that we have tucked away, the reason is generally one of fear. Our story is just a story, which we created to provide experience. It is a fluid as water and we have the ability to alter it in a heartbeat in whatever way we wish.
Let us begin with your personal new earth – for the recent solar eclipse shifted your world dramatically. Many of you want to know the fine points of this shift: Will there be more earthquakes? Will governments topple? Will friends disappear? Such questions are premature. You are shell-shocked, so allow yourself to rest a bit.
May's Gemini new Moon occurs on May 21st and is a partial solar eclipse. Coming after the last few Super Moons, this is a powerful eclipse that will have interesting and wonderful possibilities. From Wikipedia: It will be the first central eclipse of the 21st century in the continental USA, and also the first annular eclipse there since the solar eclipse of May 10, 1994 which was also the previous eclipse of this series Solar Saros 128.
Whoo Hoo! What a wild ride! Did you get hit with the crazy anxiety the last few days? I sure did as did my son and lots of other people. Two days ago I was literally shaking and I couldn’t stop. Since I couldn’t relax, I just went with it and shook away...
This is an Annular Eclipse, which means that the Moon is positioned further away from the Earth than at a Total Eclipse, so it does not completely obscure the Sun, but leaves a ring (annulus) of sunlight visible around the Moon’s dark disk. According to NASA’s Fred Espenak, “annular eclipses have a special charm all their own. During an annular eclipse, sunbeams turn into little rings of light. The best place to see this is on the sun-dappled ground beneath a leafy tree. Hundreds of circular shadows can be found there.
On May 20, 2012, a rare solar eclipse alignment will happen between the Earth, the Sun and Alcyone in the Pleiades Constellation. According to myth, the hunter Orion was in love with the SEVEN SISTERS and pursued them until the gods took them to safety, transforming them first into doves, and then into stars. Maia, the eldest of the seven Pleiades, gave birth to Hermes (Thoth).
Are you paying attention to the universal sleight-of-hand that is about to happen this coming weekend? If you're under pressure and thinking that it has all been self-generated then I have some good news for you. The first of two Super Full Moons will occur on May 5th (in Scorpio) and the second a month later on June 4th (in Sagittarius). And just for good measure the cosmos is tossing in a solar eclipse in Gemini on May 20th with a lunar eclipse occurring on the full moon (June 4th) also in Gemini.
There were HUGE solar events that took place as we traveled to Egypt this year (near Equinox). We knew these events meant something, but didn't know what. Since then have we have noticed that life has changed dramatically?
I was in the path of a solar eclipse when I was a young child . . . I remember it clearly. The sky slowly darkened. The birds sang their evening songs and then they all went still. I heard the crickets begin their chorus. That is when I looked up expecting clouds; instead I saw a shadow crossing the sun. I was alone out in nature, but I was not alone. I was one with the Earth and sky, and the distance between the two had just shrunk to the point that I felt one with everything.
Thursday's New Moon with a partial Solar Eclipse ushers us into a new landscape with new ways of experiencing and where sensing and knowing expanded information is possible. This is a passage-way. Eclipses always come in pairs and this last Eclipse cycle of 2011, opens a path to 2012 that is initiatory; you can be changed in very practical ways that filter down into your experience and give you new footing by the December Solstice Celebration and to enter 2012, doing/being what you are, what you want and what you love.
Welcome to the Solar Eclipse in Cancer today, the third of a super powerful, mega-shifting eclipse series! Right about now you are likely feeling very clear around where you are still under-estimating, under-valuing and under-caring for yourself. If you aren’t sure that you’re very clear at all, take a look around at the kinds of things that have been going on in your life these past few weeks, including this week. The energies are being quite ruthless in getting the message across.
I am sure that you will all agree that the energies have been exciting but pretty difficult in this last month as we have passed through the first Solar Eclipse, and then the Total Lunar Eclipse. Now we approach the culminating eclipse of this series, the Partial Solar Eclipse on the 1st of July.
Was last week hard for you? Were at the point where you just couldn't take it any more. You're not alone, we all felt that way. This week closes out the June eclipse cycle, finally. It's not an invitation to be glad it's over and go back to our old habits, though. It's time to integrate the learning and follow a different path. Read on...
The new Moon on July 1st is a partial solar eclipse, observable only from parts of Antarctica. Although it is only a partial eclipse, it is still a powerful one as it is square Saturn and opposite Pluto, which gives it quite a bit of punch.
I expect by now that you are feeling the full onslaught of the effects from the June Solar/Lunar eclipse and solar flare, Summer Solstice (June 21st) gauntlet... Whew! It has been interesting to say the least. Just prior to the first eclipse, I had a powerful vision. I could see the great divine director a.k.a. the creative energy of the universe, begin to create new form!
