The Karmic Tools Weekly Forecast covers the current planetary transits which affect people in different ways and to various degrees of intensity. Take notice when it is a Personal planet (Sun/Moon/Mercury/Venus/Mars) interacting with a Social (Jupiter/Saturn) or Collective planet (Uranus/Neptune/Pluto). And pay extremely close attention when it is a Social planet interacting with a Collective planet because that means something *big* is brewing that will move large groups of people along their evolutionary paths.
Occurring on October 23 in Australia and October 22 in the United States, October's full Moon is the second full Moon in a row in Aries. Last month's full Moon was on the first degree of Aries - this month's full Moon is on the last degree of Aries. The Sabian Symbol for this full Moon is Aries 30: A Duck Pond And Its Brood.
This week the energies of the Full Moon will see us shifting and integrating many of the darker, shadowy aspects of ourselves. In this period it becomes essential to heighten your awareness around the energies moving within and find ways to integrate them. At this stage of your growth it is crucial that you integrate the shadowy aspects of yourself, thus recognising that they are in fact rejected and wounded aspects of you. With this awareness you will no longer find it necessary to project them onto others.
Venus Retrograde is in full swing with her current theme: Enough! Enough of people taking your power, telling you what to do and how to live, pulling you this way and that, making you feel like they are the powerful adult in authority to your 5 year old self. ENOUGH!
Speaking of which, this newsletter is late as I had a computer failure halfway through writing it. Taking a week to repair, we thought it was the mother board, but it was the processor. The processor certainly reflects the Sabian Symbol for this new Moon: Circular Paths. Something to bear in mind as you're reading this is that the new Moon has an influence over the coming month and things that happen in the course of the Moon can signify new beginnings that are reflected for some time to come. We process the energies, events and issues that come up and learn from them.
Happening only every 18 months or so, Venus is going retrograde on October 8 and is turning direct again on November 19. Retrograde Venus can feel like a time in the wilderness. Whether it's around the issue of money, spending, earnings, direction, possessions, integrity, beauty, attractiveness, marriage, love, romance, or all of those things put together - it's a time for changes, reflection, going inward, revisions of attitude, revising the past and plotting the future
You can live without many organs, but NOT the HEART! That transcends your physicality and reminds you that NOTHING LIVES WITHOUT HEART! And the overall health of any living thing can be assessed by the strength and health of the heart. Venus, when it rules Libra, reminds us that love really does conquer all and not that mushy, passive stuff ~ I'm talking love the *verb* ~ strong, fierce, passionate love. Love of life; love for the planet; love for your work; love for your family; love you would fight and die for ... love you cannot live without!
September's full Moon heralds a significant time that will be very meaningful on many levels. Occurring on Thursday September 23, it sits exactly on the Cardinal Cross that's been building and building these last few years. The Symbols of the Cardinal Cross include themes of emergence, self realization, taking control, standing up and being counted, assessing where ones beauty and talent lies versus being stuck on a pin and sacrificing growth or movement.
September's new Moon, happening on Wednesday September 8th, is one of fascination, wonder, observation and delight, tinged with some hesitancy as some watch and wait and try to figure things out. The Sabian Symbol is Virgo 16: Delighted Children Crowd Around The Orangutan Cage In A Zoo.
This month we get several opportunities to connect to a deep and powerful healing, for ourselves and our planet. We can heal our past, present and future by grounding our intent at this time. This month, we do a lot of sorting and sifting, organizing and clearing that which no longer serves. The first rule of the Universe is ORDER.
August's full Moon, falling on August 25 in Australia and August 24 in the United States, is one that has some fairly strong emotions attached to it - and not only because it is a Pisces full Moon. The Sabian Symbol is Pisces 2: A Squirrel Hiding From Hunters. This is a very interesting, and, at times, rather confronting Symbol
August's new Moon, falling on August 9 in the United States and August 10 in Australia, is one that is asking us to take a look at where we can create some miracles, changes, experiments or take some chances. The Sabian Symbol is Leo 18: A Chemist Conducts An Experiment For His Students. This is a wonderful degree of discovery, trial and error perhaps, but being prepared to take on the new in some way to see where it might lead you
Summer Solstice and New Moon in Cancer. Celebrate! Midsummer’s Night is here! It’s the longest day, one of the four most powerful points in the solar year. Honor this shift in some tangible way and bring its power into your life – an offering, a prayer, a silent acknowledgement, for this is where the increase of sunlight that has developed from the point of the Winter Solstice now shifts from the yang, outwardly-increasing force to the yin, inwardly decreasing force.
Asteroid Ceres enters Pisces at 6:40 p.m. UT on 28th January 2016. Ceres, goddess of grain, brings us nourishment and protection. She feeds our body, mind and spirit, nurturing us to become our fullest, most authentic selves.
Events which occur around the time of this eclipse may surprise or catch us unaware, but such is the nature of solar eclipses. They disrupt our malaise and act to insert new experience into our personal timeline.
