Messages about winter solstice

Marielle Croft has some valuable advice for the Solstice period that we are now entering, and also the first part of 2009. It seems that this will be a "go slow" period when we will be consolidating after the huge shifts and transformations of 2008.

*Samhain* ~ Cross Quarter ~ Honoring the Invisible Assistance ~ This completes the *8* Sacred Seasons of the Solar Year. You've done all you can do for the last 10+ months and now you must surrender. You have been intuitively guided and completely supported the *Whole* time ... whether you were aware of it or not.

And so we gather on this auspicious day, one of celestial import and Earthen significance within the energy of what you term the December Solstice.

I apologize for the length of this transmission. I considered chopping it down a bit because of its length, but as I considered doing so, I also realized that some of the essential energy would be lost.

Most of us in the 'western world' celebrate holidays of Hanukah and Christmas in December each year. On the surface this season is seen as a festive time of happiness and family celebration. It is a time of lights, of gifts and gatherings. While indeed is a truly wonderful holiday, it is also a time of memories and reflection as another year comes to an end.

The Winter Solstice is considered one of the most powerful times of the year by many cultures around the world. In the Northern Hemisphere this celestial event usually occurs on December 21st.

I think this message is more profound than I realized at the time of the channel. The channel occurred on the eve of the winter/ summer solstice. The energies were very strong and in fact even as I proofed it, they remained strong. The Goddess used the solstice as an illustration of how we may have one foot in the old energy and one in the new. She worked with us to find the blending of both through the lightbody energies...

Greetings beloveds, at this special time of year. Solstice is the time when you reach the pinnacle of your orbit to begin the path to return to balance in the second half of the year. It is a natural time for the changing of the guard so that you may enter this holiday season and New Year with a refreshed, filled open heart to begin again. It is a time of pregnant expectancy.

We have a message about dark and light. We have been speaking on how darkness and light enhance each other and are part of the same energy. We speak of this in the sense of having friction within which to do this earth walk. You came here to experience yourselves on a deeper level.

This channel is from the night of the winter solstice (the summer solstice for my friends in the southern hemisphere!).  This was also the beginning of Chanukah.  The Goddess spoke of bringing light into the darkest day of the year; the light from the candles of Chanukah and the Christ light.  I could feel the energies of Abraham, Jesus, Mary, Joseph, the Wise Men and all involved in the birth of Christ so strongly!

What a time it is! What an awesome, mind-blowing, exciting, rich, abundant, full time of LOVE it is! For that is all there is: Love. Even though it may appear differently in the world of form, all - even in the illusion - is for the purposes of Love. While this may sound trite, it is actually the most profound thing we can comprehend during this special time.

Happy Winter Solstice!  Let us discuss the goddess Kali for a moment.  As I have stated in my previous post, she is the hostess of this current portal (12/12-12/21) which will glide us into the winter season of 2009-2010 and beyond to 2012.  In the Hindu religion, we are in the “Age of Kali”. ”The Age of Kali is the natural ending of the world in the fourth age.  It is one of a series of changes, each of which marks the end of one cycle and the beginning of another creation (Dee Finney) cycle.
