Every day you are provided with experiences and situations to choose the light. Every encounter with every person, every word that you speak and thought that you think is an opportunity to choose the light. There are no insignificant incidents in your lives; each one is an opportunity for you to express your spiritual growth and understanding and to see others with the compassion, understanding, acceptance and love that the Universe sees you with. What do you choose?
The thoughts that you think and words that you speak about yourselves and others are a reflection of your light. When your thoughts and words are full of compassion, love and understanding, you are choosing the light. When they are bitter, fearful, critical, judgmental or unkind, you are not choosing the light. The light is only effective in your lives when you are living through it and are an example of it. Your decision to choose the spiritual path is also an agreement to choose the light in every aspect of your lives.
Choosing the light is not easy when you are faced with injustice, others' fears or criticisms. It is often difficult to choose the light when someone is not choosing the light when dealing with you. But what others choose does not have to be your choice. The light overcomes the darkness not by addressing the darkness but by being the light. Each time you choose the light you are agreeing to shine light on the darkness. And that benefits you and all of humanity.
To have peace you must live peace; to have love you must live love; to have kindness, compassion and understanding you must be those things to yourself and to everyone around you. The Universe will not rescue humanity from its problems but will support every choice and decision to choose the light by magnifying the energy for all of humanity. Every situation is an opportunity for you to choose the light. This is how you will create peace, love, joy and abundance in your own lives and for all of humanity. This is how you will create Heaven on earth. Will you choose the light?
