In
many readings with clients I am shown that the body is energetically
out of balance, which manifests in all sorts of pain, dis-ease and
physical ailments that range from discomfort to acute and chronic
conditions. The source of many of these conditions lies in the
lifestyle, beliefs and messages that the client has created which
creates stress that are being shown to them through the body.
Transcending the beliefs is often the path to healing and once they
understand what they are they can balance their energy and free
themselves of these conditions.
The body is the physical vehicle that the spirit operates through. Without the body we are unable to maneuver in the physical world. So the body is important to us and maintaining the body is critical to our being able to do our work. It is not surprising that the increased interest in spirituality is accompanied by an awareness of the importance of maintaining the physical body. We now insist on organic food, clean water and exercise because we know that that spirit needs our bodies to be healthy, well functioning vehicles. But we also need healthy thoughts and positive attitudes to feed us on a spiritual level.
Obesity is a global problem but we are not a planet of physically obese people, we are a planet of emotionally exhausted, unhappy people who need spiritual relief and to find joy. Heart attacks kill millions every year but we are not a planet of people with weak hearts, humanity is broken-hearted and disillusioned. Millions more die from cancer but cancer is caused by the unresolved anger and other emotions that we cannot forgive and release. Our physical body is trying to tell us to reconnect, forgive, release and heal in the only way it can, through dis-tress, dis-ease and dis-comfort.
We put pressure on our bodies by not eating well, not getting enough sleep and being out of integrity with our emotional and spiritual needs. Our body functions well under pressure until it can no longer continue and we reach a point of physical and emotional exhaustion. Then it begins to tell us, in ways we cannot ignore, that it is out of balance. But that is because we are driving ourselves too hard, ignoring our needs and are out of integrity. We must be in balance on every level in order for our body to function properly. I believe that every physical condition has a spiritual and energetic component and by healing ourselves on spiritual and emotional levels we will create energetic balance and free ourselves from dis-ease. Is your body telling you that it needs attention? Is it in distress? Healing yourself of the physical, emotional and spiritual pressure you are creating in your life will help put your body in balance and create well-being in every aspect of your life.
