Be In The Moment

My dear friends, we love you so very much.

As so many of you have noticed, time seems to by flying by in your world. Dear ones, time has not changed or speeded up, but rather the amount you must fit in the same twenty four hour day has drastically increased over the years. One hundred years ago, you would get up with the sunrise, eat a healthy breakfast, go to work or manage the house, eat dinner with the family, and then relax in the evenings, before retiring for a good night's sleep. Life was slower and more satisfying. Relationships were conducted face to face and there was no such thing as calling someone in your car, or answering emails. And while, we in the heavens, love your modern technology because it does indeed help you connect with your world, acknowledge the fact that you are one human race, and communicate very nicely with one another, ask yourselves... are you the servant or the master of the tools you use, the systems you embrace, and the activities that you choose to engage in? Are you running your life, or is your life running you? Do you own your possessions, or do your possessions own you? These are good questions to contemplate as you strive to figure out what is of true value in your life, and what truly gives you joy and feelings of aliveness.

This is why your time seems to be flying by so quickly dear ones - because many of you fill your lives with things you think you must have or do, and you forget to enjoy them, thereby missing the moments, and missing the quality in your lives. If you must work to live, engage in your work, be present to the people around you and rather than seeing your co-workers and bosses as adversaries, see them as people, just like you, with the same hopes, fears, and dreams. Be the light that you are at work, and you will light up your entire workplace.

If you must run errands or drive children to and fro, be present to your errands, or your children. Engage in the moment, rather than thinking about what is next. Truly dear ones, your presence will make you more efficient, give you greater satisfaction, and allow you to find the most joyful path to the next moment.

Suppose for example, you are 'stuck' in line at the grocery store, tapping your foot impatiently, thinking of the next ten errands you must run, and feeling quite irritable. Dear ones, this not the vibration you wish to use to pave the path for the rest of your day! Be pleasant to the people in line. Smile, talk, engage in life and you never know - you might learn something, meet a friend, be gifted with a piece of information you needed, or even meet the love of your life. Certainly you will feel better and send a vibration of love out to pave the way for the rest of your day. Missing the moments, means missing the magic in life. Avoiding being present means you will not receive the presents that each moment has to offer you.

Suppose you feel you must have something in your home to make you happy. By all means, dear ones go get it if you can afford it, but if getting that 'thing' means creating a financial burden, or creating maintenance that will take too much of your time, ask yourself, "Is this really going to make me happier?" Avoiding wishful thinking and allowing yourself to be with the reality of a purchase means that you will own your possessions rather than allowing them to own you. Likewise, look around your homes. Get rid of the things you are not loving, not using, and those things that no longer serve you. The material world was meant to serve YOU dear ones; you were never intended to serve it.

So in these final days of winter, as time seems to fly, slow down. Be in the moment you are in. Embrace it. Bring as much love and positive energy to it as possible. In this fashion you will live your lives, savor your moments, and pave your future with a kind and loving vibration. Do not throw seeds of weeds out in front of you dear ones with negativity, worry, and upset. Instead plant seeds of kindness, love, well being, gratitude, abundance, and joy to pave your future pathways. This dear ones, is the kindest and most gentle way to live your lives and allow your own spirits to truly blossom.

God bless you! We love you so very much.
