Ferguson and All It Is Revealing

My thoughts tonight are with the people of Ferguson. As disturbing as it has been to see the speed with which the police transformed from the role of protectors to militarized aggressors, dressed and armed ready for war, as sad as it has been to realize how deep racism and discrimination still is, it is simultaneously crucial that these things are being revealed to the rest of the country, and world, albeit under tragic circumstances.

The shooting didn't create these issues....it highlighted them for all to see. Many had no idea that the police are capable of responding as they are now, sending tear gas and army tanks into crowds of innocent people, but they have been trained all over the country to respond in exactly this way. The people have a right to know that, and have a right to say "This is not how we want to run our society."

My inner mama dragon feels furious right now. I am beyond angered by people who condone or perpetrate aggressive, abusive, authoritarian tactics over innocents, be they members of government, controllers in the shadows, rebels chasing families out of their home in war zones all around the world, traffickers buying and selling women and children, what makes them think they have the right to do that? There is no quick answer or overnight solution but I pray that we are moving toward a world where all of the above belongs in ancient history books.

Awareness can lead to despair but ultimately it awakens us out of apathy and into action. Whether that action is to pray for a better future, visualise the kind of world we want, keep our vibration high, spread news or inspiration via social media or contribute to change in small or large tangible ways, each and every one of us can make a positive, powerful difference no matter how powerless we are made to feel. Now is the time to remember our power, and use it in a good way.

As aghast as I am at what has been done in the name of wealth, lifestyle, intolerance and greed...... I am even more aghast that I allowed it.

Time to do better.....

Thanks Dana for your posts. Remember with great love that there is ultimately no death. If Ferguson is causing emotional triggers, in righteous indignation or anger, then one needs to go in toward their soul and heal. Some may be healing at a personal level, global, etc. It takes great spiritual strength to not react and go inward to hold emotional balance until one can pass the initiation and receive their next light codes and new light geometries within their subtle light bodies. The ego acts and reacts but the ascended/Christed heart is "be" love, not being love or to be love, which require action. When person reaches the be (ing love, no action), then there is total expansion of your soul through all the universe. Any action/reaction feeds into the electromagnetic of the duality, the one side right and other wrong, increasing the dialectic.

Thank you Dana for having the courage to post about this controversial subject. I watched the video of the young man in the store. Whether he shoplifted or not is unclear but he did shove the store owner into a display. The young man was big, and used his size against another person. In short, he bullied someone who seemed to be trying to communicate. What I am seeing is a complex situation of attraction, resistance, and denial. No one seems willing to take responsibility for their own attraction. The only answer to this lies in forgiveness. Forgiveness of self, for one's anger and rage at a seemingly chaotic unfolding of events that led to loss of life. Forgiveness also for the young man, who seems to have committed an act of violence against another human being moments before his death. Last, peace to the family and also to the officer who fired the gun.

Well said.
We are all beginning to see examples of what anger has done to us all. Anger is suppressed self pain and it's time to look into the anger we hold inside of our SELF that is contributing to the anger and violence vibration in the world. Time to release the anger we hold from the negative judging that we have inside of our own self.
Peace to my SELF and peace to the world at large.

Hi Vision Hawk,

Yes, so much awakening going on. Even those of us who've felt awake are awakening from much that we were still asleep to.

Thanks for your comment,

Hi Peg,

Thank you for your lovely sharing. All you say is right, and I don't encourage the unconscious emotional reaction of the ego, but that said sometimes the feeling flares up and I choose to express it. It may only be around for seconds these days, but I feel it's important to acknowledge these feelings as so many 'awake' people have been shamed into not feeling their feelings and thus we develop other issues - apathy, depression and so on.

I have spent the majority of my life living from the higher perspective and so for me, sometimes, awakening to my human-ness has been just as precious to me as awakening to my spirit-ness. I don't advocate sitting in anger, but I think a few seconds of furiousness can awaken dormant passion and authentic soul power that sorely needs awakening - which yes of course is ultimately felt and expressed through the higher heart.

Beautiful words from you, thank you.

Love Dana xx
