We have a rare celestial event today (July 20).
A second consecutive New Moon in Cancer will grace our skies.
You might recall June 20th we had a New Moon eclipse in Cancer. That was at 0 degrees, the beginning of the sign.
Today's New Moon is at 28 degrees Cancer, the end of the sign. This is the degree of mastery for the sign.
So what is the sign of Cancer teaching us?
Cancer is the sign of security and childhood memories. You are releasing some previously unhealed traumas so you can find new ways to nurture yourself and feel secure in the world.
This New Moon is in a tense opposition with Saturn in Capricorn.
Saturn is a stern teacher. One of his lessons is about having healthy boundaries and learning to live within restriction.
Saturn has been our greatest teacher this year. Certainly, we are all learning about boundaries of all sorts - emotional, physical, and energetic.
We are learning how to do more with less.
Saturn in Capricorn opposing our New Moon (and Sun) in Cancer is helping you redefine what security means to you. You are learning how to feel secure even as the outside world seems is restrictive.
During this New Moon, set your intentions to be safe and secure regardless of what's happening around you. Ask your Guides to show you how you can FEEL that in your life now, so you can truly experience the security and nurturing you deserve.
Have a beautiful day.
PS - I’m minding my own advice and taking these retrograde months to reflect and rejuvenate. I’ll be writing energy updates here, and will be back making videos in August.
