Let's Open Our Hearts This Christmas

To me Christmas time is a very special time of the year. I know during the last few months of the year many religions celebrate and even those that are not connected to a religion at all. This time of the year is just very special and I know this year is going to be a lot harder for people because we won't be able to gather and share with our families and loved ones in the normal way we would have had before.

I know many people don't like Christmas for that reason and because they may have lost a loved one or they find it very lonely. If there is someone you know that will be alone this Christmas and feeling lonely let them know that you care, a simple gift put it at their doorstep or a phone call. It’s also important that we remember people all over the world who are living in extreme circumstances and I guess we have to look at ourselves, how comfortable we are and can we share a little bit more? A donation to a food bank or that family you know who much doesn’t have, a voucher slipped under the door. An anonymous act of kindness.

The beautiful angels that I see at this time of the year are now dropping the balls of light upon every home. Those balls of light explode and fill every nook and cranny and touch everyone within that home, embracing us and filling us with the spirit of Christmas of love, compassion and hope.

When I watch that unfold in the world, when I see how kind we can be, how we can reach out and help each other with love I always pray as we go into the new year that lots of people from all over the world will still hold on to that spirit of Christmas and be the good Samaritans of the world.

The birth of a child and especially that child that was born 2000 years ago is a reminder to man how precious life is. How pure it is and how beautiful it is and that we should always be there to protect the children of the world. So this Christmas whatever religion you are or even if you have no faith at all tell those that you love that they are in your heart. Send them a letter or card or if you can phone them or FaceTime them do so. Reach out in love and kindness.

If there is anything else, ask it to those beautiful special angels that only come at this time of the year from the heavens and who touch each and every one of our souls and bring it that little bit more forward.

Let's grow more spiritual this Christmas, let's reach out and help each other with kindness and love.  Let’s give each other hope and allow the world to be filled with new blessings. Let's change this world and make it a better place for us all. Let's love each other, help each other, care for each other. Let's not put one person higher than another we are all God's children we are all equal. God and the Angels love us all.

Christmas time gives us the opportunity to be compassionate just as the three wise Kings were and the shepherds to a baby that was born in a stable. We all know about this little baby and we all know how pure every baby is and how vulnerable they are and all of the protection they need, to be cared for and loved, to be kept warm and fed, to be kept happy. We always want to see a smile on a child's face so this is the time of the year when you can be compassionate when you can reach out to your neighbors to friends to family even to those that you may have had a row with. Reach out in love, forgive, let those chains fall away from you and allow yourself to love, to love is a wonderful gift you can give at Christmas to show your love to others that you care.

Say to yourself, I am going to be the most loving person I possibly can be this Christmas from this moment on.

All my love and blessings to all of you.

Remember you are not alone, Lorna
