Abraham Hicks > Good Feels Good And Bad Feels Bad

Because you do not understand the Law of Attraction, you have picked up utterly illogical beliefs. And then you try to make those illogical beliefs fit into the framework of where you stand, moment by moment.

We are called Abraham and we are speaking to you from the Non-Physical dimension. Of course, you must understand that you also have come forth from the Non-Physical dimension, so we are not so different from one another. Your physical world has come forth from the projection of the Non-Physical.

This is the full text from Chapter 17 of Ask and It Is Given, the book by Esther and Jerry Hicks on the teachings of Abraham.

Where Are You, and Where Do You Want to Be?

Are you among the rare humans who have come to appreciate the contrast of your time and place?

We see a lot of you (lovely Beings that you are) making the worst of it over and over again. And do you know why you do that? It's for very well-meaning reasons. You make the worst of it because, at every level of your Being, you understand that you are supposed to feel good and that things are supposed to go well for you.

Jerry: Abraham, why do you feel that so many of us, in physical form, seem to have a need to justify the good that comes to us? Abraham: Part of the reason is that humans incorrectly believe in the limitation of resources, so they feel they must explain to others why they should receive it instead of them. Belief in "unworthiness" is another factor. There is a very powerful thought here in your physical dimension that says, "You are not worthy, so you are here to prove yourselves as worthy." You are not here to prove your worthiness. You are worthy! You are here for the experience of joyful expansion. It was by the power of your desire, and by the power of your allowing - indeed, by your application of the very Law [of Attraction] that we are discussing here - that you have emerged into this time-space reality. And so, your physical existence here is proof of your worthiness, or deservedness, to be, do, or have whatever you desire, you see.
So the word, Dominant, is a word we want you to hook up with here today. "What is my Dominant Vibration?" Another word is activated.

Co-creating with another person can be fabulous. Two or more people thinking a little differently — can add balance and breadth, and depth, to one another’s desires. Two people, master minding, can add power to a desire.

The beast, whether it is your dog or cat or squirrel, or no matter what beast you are affectionately addressing, is, for the most part, less specifically focused than you are. He is less of a deliberate creator. He deciphers contrast less specifically than you do. Therefore, he creates less deliberately than you do. The advantage to him, in that, is that he does not push against as much.
