Messages & Channelings

What if the only resolution you made was to love yourself more? This idea cuts right to the heart of everything I teach (and study myself). And this week, I plan to use this year-end down time to explore what it means to love myself more in 2016.

Cheryl Richardson > Inner Gratefulness: Finding more to love

This week we celebrate Thanksgiving – the holiday of gratitude that invites us to connect with and appreciate the abundance in our lives.  As I took a shower this morning, I thought about some of the things I feel grateful for – hot water, a window in my bathroom with a beautiful view, a cat that makes me smile every single day, and a husband who cares for me with deep and abiding love.

Here's what happens when you turn a problem into a divine assignment.

I’ve been working on my next book, a memoir about the perils and pleasures of aging consciously.  I’m doing my best to live each day awake and aware of the finiteness of life.  As I make decisions, I keep asking, “If today were my last day on earth, would I be satisfied with this choice?” By doing so, I’m becoming acutely aware of what adds comfort, contentment, peace, and meaning to my life.  I’m realizing some pretty interesting things.

Cheryl Richardson > Stay Connected to the Sky

The best decision I made in 2020 was to meditate every day starting on January 1st. I kept a small journal by my bed and before going to sleep, I placed an “M” next to the date with a checkmark.

Cheryl Richardson > Come Home To Yourself, Sweetheart

I sat quietly in my office staring out the window at a red-tailed hawk sailing overhead. The wind carried her far above the tree line and I imagined what it must be like to float so effortlessly. I gently closed my eyes to start the day with a meditation.

Cheryl Richardson > Finding Gratitude in Tough Times

There’s a memory I hang onto when times are hard and I find it difficult to feel grateful. I’m 24 years old standing in a bathroom no bigger than a linen closet, staring at my bloodshot eyes in a mirror.

Cheryl Richardson > The Thank You Game: Share the wealth

I love this time of year and I'm always excited to announce the "Thank You Game," during Thanksgiving week here in the States. Whether you celebrate Thanksgiving or not, saying "thank you" to the people in your life is not only a wonderful way to bring some unexpected kindness to others, it's also a way to share the wealth of gratitude and to feel the power of connection.

Perspective is a powerful healing force. When we shift how we look at something, we open the door to new possibilities.

Cheryl Richardson > Self Care During Tumultuous Times

Speaking of self-care. This week I wanted to share a few things I’m doing during this tumultuous time to take good care of myself. Take what works for you.
