To thine own heart be true. Where does your heart leap to? And where does it fall down from? And, yet, do not jump to conclusions as to where your happiness lies. Give yourself breathing space. Find the level of your heart. Where does it like to be? If your heart were a bird, what tree does it like to sit on? What note does it like to sing? Deeper than deep, where does your heart's happiness lie?
Need is a word you don't need. Needing is an affront to yourself. When you feel you need, you are feeling needy. Feeling needy, you put yourself in a weak position. Needing is not in your best interest, beloveds. If need is your position in life, then change your position. There are much better places for you to come from than need. Need is the last place you want to come from.
Life often takes care of itself. You don’t have to run around worrying and solving problems. Worries are rampant. Let go of worrying, and see what happens. It is not really time that solves difficulties nor is it really space that solves difficulties, and yet it is wise for you to allow difficulties time and space to obviate themselves.
Christ was harmonious, and yet he was firm in what he knew. He was not swayed. He ventured forth in a straight line. His God-given mission was to bring others closer to Me. He wanted nothing for himself but to give the gift of love that was given to him and which he had accepted whole-heartedly. A heart full of love can only pour out love, and so love is multiplied.
Nervousness, anxiety, fear and all the other equivalent words freeze up your love and keep it from flowing. On the whole, what these upsetting words represent blocks your receiving love as well as giving it.
I hear you cry out that life on Earth is unbelievable. That it is absurd. It is ridiculous. It is unexpected. It is rote. It stays the same. It never stays the same. It always surprises you unless you happen to be feeling ho-hum about life.
