Anger is ego’s henchman. Whenever you are angry, know that ego is at play. Anger is a by-product of ego. Whether your anger is justified or not, anger itself is a representative of ego. Anger doesn’t let you think. Anger not only surmounts the heart, it also surmounts the mind. Anger takes over, and you see red. Red is the color of anger. Red-hot is anger’s temperature.
You do not have to know all your deep dark secrets. You do not have to delve into the lurkings of your past. Yet the world holds on to the preciousness of the past. Its motive is good, to unveil the past so that you can then move on past it. But, of course, the world likes to analyze.
Are you beginning to see the gifts that I send to you on every day of the year? In every hour, in every moment? The gifts are there, beloveds. Some you can't help noticing. Others you may need to be on the lookout for. Look for little signs of my love strewn along your path like bread crumbs.
How can you say that Christ died when he lives still? The passing body died, no more. And the body is such a temporary thing, serving its purpose for a while, and then dropping away in order that the soul may fly free. Thus the servant body makes way for greater freedom and Immortality. The body no longer cramps your style.
Look up. No matter what, look up. See the sun. Look up, and see brightness. Keep looking up, beloved. When your eyes pain you, look up. When your heart hurts you, look up. When you feel bereaved, look up. The physical act of looking up will change the circumference of your thoughts. Heaven, as pictured, is a metaphor, and yet, like all metaphors, it contains Truth. When you look Heavenward, healing occurs.
Even when your eyes are closed, look up. You will also be looking inward.
Stand tall and straight. Picture a sterling golden chain of love from Heaven holding you erect. Straight posture is good because it makes a straight line to and from Heaven. You might as well picture the straight line from you to Heaven and Heaven to you. It is not all imagination to think this. Besides which, your imagination can do anything. Imagine what you want to come to pass.
What has been does not matter one whit compared to what is now.
You may have taken a thousand false steps, yet now you can take any step you choose. You are always in the position of making some kind of choice. Even if you are firmly planted with your intention on good for the world, each day greets you anew, and you have new decisions to make or old ones to make once again.
Be a friend first. There is no need to wait for others to extend their hands to you first. When you greet another, you are greeting yourself. By all means, greet yourself. No ands, ifs, and or buts. For easy understanding, you have made yourself into an I and so have many others, and I give a lesson in grammar that you and I are a We. We like to be We. You like to be We. You like to be We with Me, and you like to be We with others.
There is a momentum in Life. It is like a fire you build, and it behooves you to keep the fires burning. The fire you add to is yourself. Either you go forward, or you allow your project to die on the vine.
If your thoughts have been in a rut, what is there to do but get onto a new track? If you have been thinking about the ills of the world, change the station you listen to. Return to beauty. Remember upliftment. Uplift yourself. Pull yourself up.
When you are on a train, you have to know when to get off. If you take a bus, you have to be alert to where you transfer. You have no obligation to stay on a bus or a train. You can get off wherever you want. Get off at a stop that serves you and the universe.
You carry an umbrella when it’s raining. You don’t carry around an umbrella every day in the event it should rain. For what earthly reason would you carry dreary thoughts? They shield you from nothing. They are the very enemy, and you have been taking care of them, protecting them at your own expense.
