Beloved, you think of another long ago friend of yours from many long years ago. Your heart aches to talk to once more to this friend. You have no way of knowing if this long ago friend is still alive.
Beloved, sometimes you may feel you are in a chamber of some kind where you cannot quite hear or see or be heard. There is not even an echo. You may not actually exist for all you know. What does it mean not to exist?
To thine own heart be true. Where does your heart leap to? And where does it fall down from? And, yet, do not jump to conclusions as to where your happiness lies. Give yourself breathing space. Find the level of your heart. Where does it like to be? If your heart were a bird, what tree does it like to sit on? What note does it like to sing? Deeper than deep, where does your heart's happiness lie?
There is a momentum in Life. It is like a fire you build, and it behooves you to keep the fires burning. The fire you add to is yourself. Either you go forward, or you allow your project to die on the vine.
There is a preponderance of love in the world and in your life. You may be so involved in the troubles of the world and the troubles in your personal life, that you do not see all that which extends far beyond the troubles of the world.
You don’t have to look around every corner seeking safety in one form or another. Be done with the idea that you are in jeopardy. You don’t have to put your fisticuffs up. Have you had the idea that you have to protect yourself and your rights on Earth at all costs?
Life is not either/or. You do not have one choice or two. You have
many-petaled choices. When you were a child, you took a daisy, and you
said with each petal, "He loves me, he loves me not." You left out
other possibilities, that he likes you, that he makes you happy, that
you like him and you make him happy. Life is many-layered and not so
