Lynda Hill > Peacocks Parading On The Terrace: The Taurus Full Moon

November's Taurus full Moon falls smack on the last degree of Taurus on 21st November in the United States and the 22nd of November in Australia. The Sabian Symbol is Taurus 30: A Peacock Parading On The Terrace Of An Old Castle. The following is from my book The Sabian Oracle: 360 Degrees Of Wisdom:

November's Scorpio new Moon, falling on November 6, is one of communications, connections, making new contacts and renewing contacts with people from the past. The Sabian Symbol is Scorpio 14: Telephone Linesmen At Work Installing New Connections.

Speaking of which, this newsletter is late as I had a computer failure halfway through writing it. Taking a week to repair, we thought it was the mother board, but it was the processor. The processor certainly reflects the Sabian Symbol for this new Moon: Circular Paths. Something to bear in mind as you're reading this is that the new Moon has an influence over the coming month and things that happen in the course of the Moon can signify new beginnings that are reflected for some time to come. We process the energies, events and issues that come up and learn from them.

Happening only every 18 months or so, Venus is going retrograde on October 8 and is turning direct again on November 19. Retrograde Venus can feel like a time in the wilderness. Whether it's around the issue of money, spending, earnings, direction, possessions, integrity, beauty, attractiveness, marriage, love, romance, or all of those things put together - it's a time for changes, reflection, going inward, revisions of attitude, revising the past and plotting the future

September's full Moon heralds a significant time that will be very meaningful on many levels. Occurring on Thursday September 23, it sits exactly on the Cardinal Cross that's been building and building these last few years. The Symbols of the Cardinal Cross include themes of emergence, self realization, taking control, standing up and being counted, assessing where ones beauty and talent lies versus being stuck on a pin and sacrificing growth or movement.
