Hello friends. Well it’s Valentine’s week and lots of folks have love on their mind. Happy in love, no love, brokenhearted, bitter, or just plain angry. Almost everyone’s got a story to tell, and I certainly am no exception. Despite the title, I assure you this isn’t a gloomy blog post and we’re going to cover some interesting ground here.

Hello friends. The energies have certainly been interesting lately. As we often have several planets in water signs in July, with this new moon we will have 7 (Sun, Moon, Mars, Venus, Mercury, Neptune and Chiron.) That’s a lot of depth!

Hello friends. Feeling it? I'm sure the sensitives are, no doubt. We are in an upgrade/gateway that began on 5/19.

I couldn’t have foreseen that I would be writing a tribute to another one of the greatest innovators and musical artists of our time this year, Prince Rogers Nelson.

As you may know, I like to tune into the actual energy of the Full and New Moon themselves. I don’t spend a lot of time on the other aspects traveling with it, as there are other talented astrologer colleagues of mine who do a great job with that.

Welcome to the powerful “reboot” that is the Aries New Moon of April. If your “I AM” presence and confidence are not feeling so solid or seaworthy due to the unsettling eclipse month of March, this is an excellent chance to get back on track.

The level of mourning in the world over Bowie today has been immense. For the LGBTQ community, starseeds and sacred “weirdos” of all kinds especially we lost a powerful guiding force yesterday, on the physical plane anyway.

2016 will be a return to a deeper and quiet spirituality for many. The challenge is to stay balanced and not retreat into the opposite polarity of the energies of 2015 which is spiritual escapism (Chiron and Neptune in Pisces) and an avoidance of certain unpleasant earthly realities.

Rev. Irma Kaye Sawyer > 2015 Recap & 2016 Forecast

I made a joke a few weeks ago on my Facebook page when I suggested that in response to 2015 that we begin 2016 with a “box of chocolates, a good cry and a vacation.” Though it was a good giggle, it turned out plenty of people have shared my sentiment.
