Throughout most of recorded history, humans have had a different relationship with the Earth than we have now. Most of us do not need to grow our own food, and probably don't even know where it came from.

Osiris was known as the Dying God, the God of the Dead and ruler of the Underworld. He was killed by his brother Set and magically brought back to life by his sister/wife Isis. Thus he is the God of Resurrection. When a dead Pharaoh was prepared for eternal life the priests believed that they made the Pharaoh one with Osiris. Thus the Pharaoh would be resurrected into spiritual life with Osiris. By the way, the ritual preparation of the body lasted for the length of time that the star Sirius was thought to be in the underworld (not scene in the night sky).

Sarah Biermann > Cosmic Wind Report - Full Moon March 27, 2013

Today I have been feeling jittery and impatient. I decided to have a look at the astrology of this full moon. What I found made me want to give you a "heads up".

Receiving is one of the words that is used a lot in metaphysical circles, especially in relationship to “being willing to receive” money. Let’s look at the definition.

The star grouping that we call Sirius has been conjunct our Sun making it hidden from our view since about May 23, 2011. This happens every year for about seventy days. Then Sirius can be seen rising just before the Sun. This is called the heliacal rising of Sirius. The conjunction of Sirius and the Sun does not occur at the same time in all latitudes, and is not constant in the same region for a long period. This year the heliacal rising occurs on August 7 in the San Francisco Bay Area.

We’re now fully into the year 2012 and boy are we feeling it. Everything is speeding up. We really have to “shift or get off the pot!” Anything that doesn’t serve us as we go forward in the Transformation (Ascension) has got to be released.

Sarah Biermann > What's a Healer to Do?

What’s Healer to Do? What’s a healer to do when the whole paradigm of healing is going away? How are we to be in service when there is no more need for our service? Who are you if you are not a healer or in service?

I've been writing a series called Playing with Language where I look at the origins and energies of specific words.

Sarah Biermann > Confessions of a Spiritual Teacher

Perfection (doing it right) is not required to be a Spiritual Teacher. Actually, imperfection is required. Imperfection opens the way for connection and safety, which are absolutely required for a Teacher (more on this later).

I have spoken to and and gotten emails from so many people all wondering about basically the same thing. People are tired, exhausted even. There is no enthusiasm for anything, even the things that they used to feel so excited about. Physical, mental and emotional and spiritual bodies are out of whack.
