Well, after the trials and tribulations of 2019, most of us are hoping for an opportunity for some good things to look forward to in 2020 as many of us have been put through the ringer physically, emotionally and spiritually.
As the planets continue their merry dance through the heavens it seems that many of us have become stuck knee deep in mud, the mud is a kind of cosmic sludge stirring up deep and profound emotions and feelings. This is a time of powerful and extreme mixed emotions. Each of us is likely to experience both ends of the emotional spectrum in the blink of an eye. Some of us will be unfortunate enough to experience both at the same time.
It’s easy to reach the end of a year realising we’ve failed to achieve the goals we set twelve months before. We may take a deep breath and then resolve, once again, that this year will be the year we finally make those dreams come true. Yet, maybe looking at goals in such a way is setting ourselves up for failure?
As a new decade begins, it’s important to pause for a moment to look back at the decade we’ve just experienced. For a great many souls, this past decade has been one of the most transformative and enlightening ever, but for a great many more it has also been one of the most challenging.
We can become tied up in knots trying to work out how to find bliss in life, but this kind of misses the point, for the more we look, the farther away from bliss we get, for bliss is not something to seek out and ‘get’; it is a state of being.
How many of us spend our lives searching for peace and trying to find our own little piece of happiness? We look for healing, release and resolution to pain, trauma and other facets of our life experiences as we seek out wholeness and completion within.
November looks set to be a month of magic and sparkle as we reach the culmination of a profound and intense inner journey (well, the culmination of this particular part of the journey to be more precise).
