Do Not ‘Want’ Anything

My dear friends...

"Wanting" something is not a good thing to do, because it produces the experience of "not having" what you choose.

Let me explain.

Your every thought, word and deed is creative. Now, if you have a thought of "wanting" something, you will produce that thought in your experience. That is, you will see that very thought made manifest in your reality.

Therefore, if you think "I want" something, that is the experience you will have: the experience of wanting it!

On the other hand, if you think "I have" something, then that is the experience you will bring yourself: the experience of having it. Do you understand?

Words are very important. Thoughts are creative. That's why I always say, I choose, rather than "I want." Choosing something is a much more forceful statement. It is a directive. It is a calling forth.

Some people have a hard time with this, because it seems as though they are giving God orders. Yet that is exactly what God would invite us to do. Stand in front of the smorgasbord of life and choose. Place your order. Tell the Universe exactly what it is you select. Announce your preferences. Command of God what you will.

This sounds like blasphemy, I know. "We should demand of God?"

Yet I did not use the word "demand." I said "command." Only if you were a God yourself would you understand this. For Gods command, and lesser beings demand. You have no demands, you have only commands.

Command the Universe. Go ahead. It has been placed there for you to do so. It has been given to you as a tool--the entire Universe--that you might recreate yourself anew in the next grandest version of the greatest vision you ever had about Who You Really Are.

So, no, do not "want." For if you say that you "want" something, you may just find yourself truly "wanting."

Rather, choose. Command. Call forth. And what is the best way to "call forth" your next chosen reality?

Say a prayer of thanksgiving that it has already been given to you. This affirms the truth of the statement, "even before you ask, I will have answered." There is much more about the use of gratitude--not arrogance, but gratitude--as a tool of creation in the Conversations with God books.

With Love,

Neale

And I would like to treble that WOW!!
How timely! I've been 'wanting' for far too long and just getting frustrated, annoyed and even feeling guilty!
It's going to get some getting around but I am going to give it a try!! Thank you :)

Ok that's 4 WOW's! It's not easy but it's correct- we are creators so let's
call forth our desires for the good of all! Thanks Neale.

I don't resonate with this unless I'm fully misunderstanding. I believe where this blog goes off course is the field of our intention and heart, and the truth that lies therein, which supercedes any literal word or thought. You can say words and think thoughts that have no alignment whatsoever with your true being, and those thoughts and words are not taken literally. This is my humble feeling on this. I do not want for people to feel like they have to be self editing twenty four seven, and this article makes me feel like that would be the affect. The key is the feeling in your being--sometimes your words and thoughts match up with that feeling, sometimes not. either way, don't judge yourself. Trust in your core understanding and as this blog says, continue to be grateful and be opening and expanding. You don't need to read any books to know your own truth.

You are manifesting life events and circumstances from a deeper place than your words and thoughts. The sails set course from here, not from fleeting words and thoughts.

I have to say I agree with the person that stated our true manifestation should not have to be using a certain way to tell God or the Universe what it is we desire. I have tried so very hard to do everything people that have had success with manifesting say to do but don't you see we as children never thought how they were wording things they just wanted and it came to them easily. I do not have what ever it is that I am asking for, so to me pretending is just a lie. Not saying that your way of doing it is wrong it just does not make sense to me. Everyone has their own unique connection with God or the Universe that is theirs and theirs alone. We can be of one heart and mind, but we are still individuals in our thoughts and manifestations. I have not been having great success with manifesting, but I think it is because I am not only confusing myself, but God and the Universe as well. Great love and luck to you all thank you for taking time to read this note:)
