Today’s message is very simple: Hold on. You can do it.
Nothing is gained by quitting on your dreams. Nothing is gained by giving up. Nothing is gained by apathy and resignation.
Has life made it difficult and challenging for you to pursue what you wish to pursue? Pursue it anyway.
Will you have to work very hard to achieve what you wish to achieve? Then begin now, right now, to set aside even a few minutes each day, each week, to work toward what matters to you, for time passes and your actions count greatly.
Does it seem hopeless? For every story of easy success there are many more of success won through perseverance, belief in oneself and simply continuing, in spite of what others say, in spite of fear, in spite of doubt, especially your own.
Read about the lives of people who fulfilled their dreams and you will find that they are stories of people who overcame, who continued, who refused to quit, even though obstacles were continually thrown into their path. And of course, they are also stories of serendipity, how the last minute choice that everyone advised against turned out to be the great breakthrough. Often it is that moment when you are at play that can release what the world is waiting for and will reward you for.
So hold on. Persevere. Do not give up. Time spent in emotional turmoil and worry gains you nothing. Time spent exploring new vistas is extremely valuable, whether they be the internal landscapes of your heart and soul or the unexplored territory of your latent talents.
You have it all. It is all there, all the talent, all the knowledge, all the ability you need to move your life in the direction of your dreams. Breathe deeply and lift up into your spirit, right now, and ask what you might do today to move your life a bit closer to what truly matters to you. Ask now, listen with your heart, and then act courageously and with commitment.
You can do it.
