Being born on the earth is the highest honor and greatest privilege. To be alive as human beings gives us the chance to pull off exquisite and Herculean feats of magic that are not possible in nirvana or heaven or any other so-called paradise, higher dimension, or better place. ~ ob Brezsny
Hello friends. As I mentioned earlier, I wasn't planning on writing up a report for this Full Moon, but the Universe had other plans. It would make sense that I would comment on it, since my own Sun is in Capricorn and I am really loving this moon and what it is all about spiritually. The Sabian Symbol for this moon is 3 Capricorn: A human soul in its eagerness for new experiences, seeks embodiment. Keynote: A powerful yearning for whatever will increase the scope and depth of one's contacts with other living beings. (Rudhyar)
Full Moon in Capricorn message: The Full Moon is about constellated earth energy and your own physical presence; not only your privilege to be here, but also your right, in a cosmic sense. Other human beings may not know the sacrifices you have made to hone your gifts of service, but nothing is ignored in the realm of Spirit. As you further claim your sovereignty and ability to radiate and receive, more will be added upon you. Shanti. ~ The Keepers, 6.20.13
Though the Sabian Symbol for the Sun connotes a trial ahead, my feeling is that with the Spring Eclipses we've already seen the majority of them. Cancer 3: A man bundled in fur leads a shaggy dear. Keynote: The need to overcome stagnation and “cold” during trials of endurance. (Rudhyar)
For this Full Moon I suggest you gift yourself with something fun and earthy. It doesn't have to be expensive, just something meaningful to you. I recently bought myself a beautiful 7-pointed chakra wand to play with. The feeling of this Full Moon and also the mid-point of the year with the Solstice, is a feeling of "Whew! We made it." It's been quite a ride these past six months, the energy also feels like a well-deserved and appreciated pat on the back from Spirit.
It hasn't exactly been an easy year for most people that you talk to, though the growth potential has been uncharted. Being here on Earth certainly isn't always fun and sometimes just plain hurts, but we can all agree that it's an adventure. We also have more magical and unprecedented times ahead. Let us celebrate our human as well as our celestial origins in this Full Moon. According to Buddhist thought, we have overcome many odds to be here, and that in itself is worth celebrating.
Full Moon in Capricorn Mantra: I am free to thrive and BE. All of my life experiences have woven into the unique tapestry that is my life. I embrace and bless the journey of my humanness. And so it is!
Happy Full Moon & Summer Solstice! (Winter for our friends in the South.)
Note: Full moon in Capricorn is 4:33 am PDT/7:33 am EDT.
