Truths Beyond Words
The Moon is now in Virgo and today she forms a Kite with Jupiter, Saturn and Neptune. In doing so she brings into focus the healing capacity of the Grand Trine in water which becomes exact next week. Despite this water energy all around us we may be feeling parched right now, in need to spiritual refreshment that seems to be out of our grasp.
This Virgo moon assures us that healing is not as far away as we may think. We need only touch the ground beneath our feet, reach up to the sky above or touch the soft air around us to know of its presence. We need only stop and be still to feel the energy flowing through us and know that it carries something altogether fresh and new, rejuvenating and up-lifting.
Come the middle of next week the Grand Trine, which has been building since the end of May, will wash over us offering renewal and refreshment. Like a watering hole in the desert we will be drawn to bodies of water in the knowledge that within them lies all that we need: healing, wisdom, presence. We will be blessed by their energy and held within their loving embrace, if we allow ourselves to relax into it and receive.
But right now the Moon reminds us that this energy is building and we are part of the circuit through which it travels. The more of us that open ourselves to receive it, the easier will be the energy flow. She reminds us that the elements are within us as well as all around, that as we reach down to the earth we reach into ourselves, as we reach up to the sky we reach out to ourselves and as we touch the soft air we touch our own energy field shimmering around us.
With her arrival in Virgo the Moon offers us a mantra: ‘As I touch the earth, the earth touches me. As I reach up to the sky, the sky reaches down to me. As I feel the air, the air feels me.’ She lovingly encourages us to live in the contact space between the inner and outer, where the earth in me touches the earth outside, where the air around me becomes the air within. For it is in this space, she reminds us, that magic happens, that miracles occur and that we recognise our unity with all of life.
This is a gentle and mystical Moon. She has truths to share which do not lend themselves to words, and she asks us to stop, be still and receive them now. For come next week these truths will be ignited within us like an eternal flame, never to be extinguished. And in the time between now and then we are preparing ourselves to be the crucible in which the sacred fire burns.
I wish everyone a blessed and gentle day.Sarah Varcas
