Messages about challenges

Neale Donald Walsch > What is your challenge?

This has been an interesting time in the lives of many of us, and I have been receiving more than the usual number of emails and letters from people who are finding themselves faced with enormous challenges. I know I have talked about this aspect of life before, and so today I went looking for a previous commentary that I offered on this very subject.

Challenges are apart of the spiritual growing process. We are faced with challenges on the daily basis. For example, a simple task of getting up out of the bed or something more difficult such as learning a new task at work. The everyday task a healthy person has may be difficult for a person with an aliment(s). The healthy person takes the lesser tasks for granted. Remember as children we had to endure and master the simpler challenges of our lives today.

My dear friends, we love you so very much. Breathe and know that although life often presents unexpected challenges, these are simply occasions to grow. As human beings you have a tendency to think you have done something wrong when life isn't working as you please, or perhaps someone else has wronged you. While you may perceive this to be true at one level of awareness, in the greater scheme of things life is just being life.
