Life is long stretches and short spans. Life is remembering and forgetting. There isn’t anything that life is not. It is hilarious, and it is, also, from your timid point of view, horrific. It is a mixed bag, but is it really?

When you know who you really are, you can simply enjoy the rest of your life as an adventure! You are an eternal soul walking around in a temporary body, and yet your physical life receives so much attention!
Everything is happening for my own good. It could be no other way in the Kingdom of God. This is the startling statement made in The Holy Experience, which I consider to be one of the most important books I have ever written, following my Conversations with God encounter. What CWG led me to at last understand is that our life here is not what I, and many people, thought it was.
Insecurity breeds ego. If everyone felt secure within himself, there would be no use for ego. Ego is meant to bolster a flagging spirit, a flagging sense of self. Why would you ever need to be inflated except that you have felt deflated with little sense of self-worth or no sense of self at all?
