You cannot help but see and have feelings about the situations and circumstances in your life. The question is, what are you focused upon within the realm of things that show up?
I sit here staring out my bedroom window at the bare trees swaying in a cold wind that foretells winter. Rather than fret about the upcoming snow and ice and down-to-bone bitterness, I’m surprised by how peaceful I feel with the changing season.
We’ve all heard it a bazillion times, that a practice of gratitude can heal and transform. But it’s so easy to forget how powerful it is until we stumble upon these moments.

You are going, at last, to experience what freedom means. All the dreams that you have held in your hearts through all of this time in the world are at last going to come into fruition.
