Messages about gratitude

David R. Hamilton PhD > Think Yourself Positive

The brain’s circuits are not fixed. Our experiences constantly change the wiring in our brains, a phenomenon known as neuroplasticity. The more we do something, the more the brain physically changes as it wires it in. A study of London taxi drivers showed neuroplasticity. It found that the hippocampus of the brain, which is involved in learning new routes as well as with spatial awareness, grew larger the more time they spent driving their taxis.

Be grateful for what you have. Gratitude is a great tool in life. It carries you far. Ingratitude drops you right where you are. Kerplunk. Complaining keeps you mired in what you complain about. Furthermore, complaining brings you more to complain about. Complaining is ingratitude. Ingratitude is a lack of gratitude.

Circle of Light > You Are My Prayer of Gratitude

Beloved ones, you are pure Love, open, endless and alive. You are pure joy in the experience of being one with life. You are also pure gratitude. It is the truth of your awareness of the gift of life, of relationship, of the miracle of this moment that is – this moment that contains your limitless freedom and contains your communion with All That Is.

So much of happiness is ‘all in the mind’, or at least it is a product of what we focus on. We all make comparisons in life but quite often they are downward comparisons.

When we are in the life flow, all actions, thoughts, and words feel natural. The sensation we feel while in the flow is one of ease and grace. All that is accomplished while in the flow gives us and others joy. The joy exchanged is one of heartfelt desires. When we stop and listen to our heart’s desires, we then become more open to receiving what we asked for, and we give in the same manner; it's a partnership shared and given equally.

Hillis Pugh > Thank You Thursday: Life Lessons

Each individual experience is an incremental part of a lesson or challenge. These experiences add up to the total life lesson. Each individual of the collective life lesson is different, yet similar. As previously spoken, our true purpose is enjoyment, but we have to learn to experience our personal joy. As young children we learned to experience joy effortlessly. We were detached from the world and all that mattered was our joy.

Lightworkers are older souls living with a purpose to bring peace, love, harmony and balance to Earth. They bring awareness to self and others. The task of a lightwoker is a chosen one, like all other roles in life to experience. However the lightworker had many struggles in past and current life from the non-supportive energies. The non-supportive energies broke the lightworker down; they often gave up, gave in, or practiced their work in silence.

Hillis Pugh > Thank You Thursday: Certainty of Faith

As a collective, we all contain some level of faith. But, what makes our faith strong? We all experience trials of faith. We can experience trails as a collective or an individual. These trials can shake our existing faith, resulting in weakened or strengthened faith. The sign of strength is our certainty. The knowledge of and from God, Creator and Source; His children are taken care of, no matter what. In times of great trials or unexpectedness, our certainty of faith is tested. This certainty comes from our actions.

What is Divinity? When we think of divinity, we think of God, or God-like abilities. Do we even know what God-like abilities are? We have only seen a sampling of them through the works of the Ascended Masters. We also read about them in the religious text. Divinity is the energy wielded in self to manifest such miracles we read about. However, Divinity is much more than the energy we wield, it is our life source, our mortality, to make us immortal.

Being committed is taking a stand for the choices made. The life we live is all by choice, and unfolds through divine planning; a planning we partake in and have the final say in how our life is to be. When there is something not going according to the life plan, we then know it was not our choice. How do we know, we can feel, sense when our life is proceeding as it should; though there are moments we sense or feel are a bit difficult, those are the lessons we chose to learn.

Owen Waters > Reconnecting with Love

With the ups and downs of life, there can be times when your connection to a universe of love seems distant. The opposite of love is fear and it appears in many forms. All negative emotions including guilt and anger are expressions of fear and they can flourish in the absence of love.

Being master of self is to know your limitless capabilities, knowing finite details about yourself. Without realizing it, we give our power away to others. The way of giving our power away is through making compromises of the soul when filled with doubt or to appease others for the sacrifice of self. When we give our power away to others, we lose a since of self and feel lost. The sensation of feeling lost is common for those on the path of being a master of self. It means we are searching for new ways to be and allow our whole self to be present.

Before we incarnate, we review our life and choose the path most beneficial to us for growth and ascension. We choose everything from our appearance, life path, people to help us in growing, the cities we live and a lot more. The life planning of the Soul is an enjoyable task, yet when we incarnate, we forget how to have fun and what it is we are to do. On a soul level, we already know what to do.

Hillis Pugh

Just being is simply that, just being who you already are. Who are we? We are more than organs, fluid, and a skeleton wrapped in skin, surrounded by energy. We are a soul living in a defining purpose. The defining purpose is what we chose as souls to evolve to the level of ascension. To achieve the level of ascension takes many lifetimes over. We know and understand this, innately; however we also choose the path in getting there. This path can be seen as difficult from the non-awakened mind, yet through the evolution of self we are able to see path clearer and the action of every step taken. The question now becomes, how do we just simply be?

Many of you will have been experiencing this way of being for the past few years, but December brings a stronger energy to gratitude and appreciation, which will see us reaching new heights of it. This is also highlighted by struggles we are seeing around us, allowing us to be grateful for what we do have, while we observe what we used to have or be, in flux or change.
