Yesterday, during a break from the nonstop snowstorms here in the Northeast, I strapped on snowshoes and went outside for a walk. As I trudged through the powdery, fresh snow, I made a spontaneous decision to dedicate my walk to forgiveness.
How many of us spend our lives searching for peace and trying to find our own little piece of happiness? We look for healing, release and resolution to pain, trauma and other facets of our life experiences as we seek out wholeness and completion within.
Seeking shelter from the storm and feeling lost and alone continues to be powerful themes for a great many souls as we try to navigate the winds of change and find relief from the feelings of disconnection and isolation as we venture ever deeper within and open up to the beauty and wisdom that resides there.
Today we encounter the repetitious nature of existence and some of the reasons behind it. Freud long ago recognised the tendency for people to unconsciously repeat behaviour, situations and experiences.
This morning, our group had a private visit at Chalice Well in Glastonbury. Upon arriving at Chalice Well, Aluna took the group to the well head, and we circled around it to see what messages awaited us. As Aluna tuned in, she became very emotional and started crying.)
We're coming out of a tough few days with a Sun/Chiron opposition happening yesterday - although it is kind of funny and ridiculous to say 'a tough few days' when really it is back to back one thing after another these days!
It is a fine line of balance to create your reality and remain detached. You are a being of creativity, thus all that you do, even in the silence of your meditation is a seeking, a creating. You seek that core of peace, the peace that passes all understanding.
Today Chiron in Pisces, Mars in Gemini and the North Node in Scorpio join forces until 25th. Chiron leads the way in this one, which is particularly significant as it has only just turned retrograde (see yesterday’s post for info about that).
Chiron is widely known to correspond with the notion of the Wounded Healer. In its archetypal energy we meet that part of us which seems forever in pain, and yet which simultaneously enables us to reach out to others in their suffering.
The start of this week sees the heavens dominated by a T Square formed by the Moon, Venus and Mercury in Cancer, Uranus in Aries and Pluto in Capricorn. It indicates the potential for powerful emotions, so we may want to go easy on ourselves and each other!
