Black Moon Lilith has come for Christmas! We don’t often hear about her, but she’s been increasingly demanding my attention this year, speaking loud and clear about her role in the year to come and the inner power we must find, to facilitate the healing necessary for our planet.
A couple of weeks ago we encountered a powerful ‘portal’ to divine wisdom in the form of a conjunction between the Black Sun and Black Moon Lilith, the latter of which was travelling retrograde through Cancer.
The fire element is strong today, making its presence felt. With the Sun now in Sagittarius, the Moon in Leo at the apex of a yod, and the Sun and Moon creating a grand trine in fire with Uranus, if we need a boost of courage, energy and inspiration we should get one today!
Today the Moon enters Gemini for a couple of days, encouraging us to lighten up a bit and see the funny side of life. Yes, I know it can be somewhat elusive at times, but even the apparently least amusing moments of our day have a comedic angle somewhere
Today we encounter a waxing Quarter Moon in Sagittarius (5:09 p.m. GMT). In the run up to this we have a Grand Trine in fire above us, firing up our enthusiasm and giving us courage to face the challenges of our day.
Today the Moon enters her own sign of Cancer where she remains until just gone midnight GMT on 2nd September. In doing so she enhances an already protective feel to the heavens, which speak today and throughout the weekend of the love within which each one of us is held by the cosmos.
The Moon is now in Aquarius, preparing to meet its Blue Moon degree at 1:46 a.m. 21st August (GMT). These are the final preparations for this unusual Full Moon which augurs a purging of things we must no longer allow to define us.
Today we have a waxing Quarter Moon in Scorpio. At this point in the Moon’s cycle energies are on the increase and we are best focused upon identifying our goals, defining our action plan and getting to grips with the steps needed to get us from here to there.
So today we have a lesson in maintaining just such objectivity, first from the Moon and then from Mercury. Until the Moon enters Gemini at 15:43 GMT (31st July) she is Void of Course (free of aspects to any other planet), encouraging us, as I mentioned yesterday, to just BE.
This weekend the heavens are awash with energy, potential and possibility. To be honest, in its entirety it may all be a bit too much for us so we need to pick and choose wisely how we use these energies now.
