To trust in God really means to live in total acceptance of what is. This does not mean that you live passively in the world. You live in the world with love, honesty and integrity. You live an empowered life in partnership with God.
In this new year, this new beginning, you find that there are many options still, and always for your attention. The choices you make given these choices, is you living your freedom.
Some people find that when problems come, they suddenly wake up and go, “Oh!” They become more alert and more present. When all is going well, alertness decreases and they go, “Okay, let’s have another drink. Where are we going on vacation next?
In Presence, you feel complete and whole. There is nothing missing and so you are not seeking anything more. Even your quest for enlightenment will dissolve in the fullness of this moment of now.
Dream your dreams. At the same time, embrace each precious amazing moment of life. From each moment of love, peace, gratitude, compassion, and wonder, you will gracefully and easily be guided to an even better and more amazing moment.
The tragedy of our existence is that this beautiful planet is actually Heaven on Earth, but we are not aware of it. We are lost in the mind. We are lost in illusion and separation.
In the present moment, there is no death. Then where is death? It is somewhere in the future. When we are in the past and future world of the mind, we can anticipate the future. We can imagine the future. And that is where you will find death.

I saw a romantic greeting card which showed a couple kissing in the front seat of a car. The message said, “If you can kiss while driving safely, you are not giving the kiss the attention it deserves.”
While most celebrate the “new year” labeled 2016, I see that separating years is a reflection of the separation in us and Source. I choose not to play in this game of illusion and rather view it all as a continuum. There is no separation between last year and this year.
Today is put before you as a blessing. This is to be a bless-ed day. Feel sprightly, and you will make this day sprightly as well. There is fate, yes. At the same time, you are the maker of your fate in the Presence of Today.
At some point in their lives, most people become aware that there is not only birth, growth, success, good health, pleasure, and winning, but also loss, failure, sickness, old age, decay, pain, and death.
