This energy gives you the courage to think things through and it activates your ability for strategic problem-solving if/when necessary. You will access your authentic voice and likely find an outlet for sharing your thoughts.
Have mercy upon yourself. Change your thoughts. Do not dwell on the insufficiencies of life. Dwell on all that you have been given. When you find yourself in a negative frame of mind, change the framework.
While sitting in my sunroom this morning sipping tea, I remembered a very interesting dream. Here in the states, the police have a mechanism for checking how fast people drive in busy neighborhoods by using something called a radar speed sign - a sign that flashes your speed as you drive by.
We may find ourselves itching to get on with things today, but if asked what those things are we could have trouble identifying them! This is a sure sign that it’s not quite time to act yet, no matter how urgent our feelings may be.
We’ve all got some kind of running commentary in our heads, acting like the voiceover to our personal life movie. For some it runs from the moment you wake up to the moment you go to sleep. For others, especially if you’ve done a certain amount of meditation or inner-work, the commentary has long periods of silence but still pipes up every now and again responding to some challenging situation.
Last month we talked about the first four layers of thought, how to recognize them and live within them as a conscious and intentional practice. Let’s continue with the final three layers or levels of thought. Recognizing and understanding the steps or levels your thoughts move through may be helpful in managing them. And ultimately, choosing which layer you want to live in.
Our body is really the product of our thoughts. We're beginning to understand in medical science the degree to which the nature of thoughts and emotions actually determines the physical substance and structure and function of our bodies. If our entire bodies are replaced within a few years, as science has proven, then how can it be that degeneration or illness remain in our bodies for years? It can only be held there by thought, by observation of illness, and by the attention given to the illness.
The trouble with you is that you think you have limits. The trouble with you, then, is how you think. Change your thinking, and, wow, the world is a different place, and you stride differently in the world.
This morning, I sat on my deck in the sun, thinking about the day and what I would write in this week’s newsletter. After enjoying a period of silence, I picked up one of the “daily inspiration” books that I often read to start the day on the right foot. I closed my eyes, picked a page at random and instantly knew I was meant to share the passage with you.
Time has shifted in accordance with new laws that have not even been enforced as of yet. In average human 24 hour day there is 86,400 seconds. The speed of thought is faster than a nanosecond. So in an average day see yourself having approximately 86,400 thoughts at the speed of the light. If you were given a penny for every thought on an average day, you would accrue $864 per day. Multiply that by seven days and you will accrue, per penny, per thought, $6048 per week. Multiply that by 4 weeks and in a month you will have accrued $24,192 just by having a penny for your thoughts.
Enough of the “airy-fairy” or “woo woo” thoughts that most of you have used to describe the New Age shifts. We wish to be extremely direct for we no longer need to be concerned about frightening you. Those of you reading these materials have accepted and now expect the New Age. Perhaps you have experienced puberty, a pregnancy or menopause.
You crave possessions when I have given you the sky and a vast horizon. I have given you the Earth and stars and a blazing sun and white moon. I have given you grass and flowers and mud and sand. I have given you oceans and beaches and stones and rocks and hot and cold. I have given you all kinds of food to eat or to spit out.
