It takes a broad view and a courageous heart to Know All is Well in these times. The current machine of Earthly life is set to disrupt conscious creation with its noise. There is a mechanism that you have within you that is receptive, for your nature is connective. Your nature is to receive the pulse of the universe into your own heart, perceive it as part of you and honor the out-breath of Life in All, so its unique impact upon the dimensional interaction is received, recorded and released to continue Life.
We need a new bumper sticker: FRUSTRATION HAPPENS. Every morning, noon, and night there are plenty of good reasons to be impatient. Another long line. Telemarketers. A goal isn’t materializing “fast enough.” People don’t do what they’re supposed to. Rejection. Disappointment. How to deal with it all? You can drive yourself crazy, behave irritably, feel victimized, or try to force an outcome--all self-defeating reactions that alienate others and bring out the worst in them. Or, you can learn to transform frustration with patience.
I don’t know about you, but I woke up on Monday morning of this week feeling quite sad. The Olympics finished on Sunday and I think it just affected me on a very deep level. Among other things, it was really refreshing for the TV to be filled with positivity, dedication, passion, and achievement instead of being saturated with conflict, negativity or instant celebrity.
A wonderful way to support and encourage greater balance and peace in your life is to be more aware of the subtle, yet profound ways that food is affecting us and the world every day, on a physical, mental and emotional level.
I have been a vegetarian for many years for all kinds of reasons: health, morality, energy, ecology, and on and on. I don’t think everyone should be a vegetarian, and I have never proselytized. I think everyone should follow their own body’s guidance toward food that works for them. I just know what works for me.
